Was there anything in particular that happened that was unexpected? Trying to figure out what statement was made, Fairmont won the matches they were supposed to except maybe for Lange getting beat. It certainly isn't difficult to figure out when fans/coaches are new to winning... |

Actually, the Red Bulls are not new to winning. They've had winning seasons since the collaboration (7th year now). They're however, finding themselves in the discussion with the likes of traditional state teams Foley and Perham. I think that is respectful. |

So it's a bad thing that the Red Bull community is excited that years of hard work is paying off? |

No, its great that the red bull community is excited, the kids have worked hard and it shows. The rest of the wrestling communities don't need to be reminded how good they look on a daily basis or how strong of a statement you feel like they made. Enjoy the run and humble yourselves a little. These things go in streaks. It wasn't long ago that you guys were the little brothers. |

It will be interesting to see how much activity there is on the forum in 3 years from red bull nation. They have a really nice team and good wrestlers that have put in a lot of hard work and it's showing right now. |

They had a lot of chances to get better wrestling different kids at the Rumble. They obviously wrestling a lot of quality ranked kids in other events as well. You can’t be ranked on the G without beating people? Edited by BL Hornet, Feb 10 2018, 01:25 PM.

It doesn’t take a great wrestling mind to acknowledge that Fairmont is a very talented team. Yet it seems you are here just to take your punches at them. Fairmont should enjoy their success as anyone who has been around for awhile remembers when it was not a strong program. I think they have a strong youth program so I would expect their success to maintain at some level moving forward. |

I guess they should have wrestled, as one had some illness and then other could have gotten it. I bet daddy would have been proud then. Most people don't understand all the situations of opposing teams. |

This is about the dumbest thread I've seen in a while. Who cares what teams do and how they do them. Every coach goes about their teams business for a reason, they don't have to explain themselves. There can always be circumstances that are out of anyone's control or it's how they planned to wrestle before the dual even started. My goodness! Some of you are acting like this is the first time someone has ever done something that someone else doesn't agree with! We all know Fairmont/MCW has a great team this year and they are proud of it. On the other hand, other teams don't need to be reminded of it every time they win something (we can check the results). Lets just keep the banter to ourselves and focus on results and wrestling instead of trying to one up one another. Good luck to all teams and individuals. Lets just let the wrestling do the talking. |

Coaching moves have been criticized forever and that will continue. Also you said let’s just discuss results. After telling Fairmont fans to not mention their results. So which is it? In my opinion we have two things occurring. Fairmont is having the “new money” reaction to their success. They are excited and proud of what they are doing, but are still adjusting to the newfound success. Still getting caught up in the need to defend their program. Obviously their results speak for themselves. Secondly, I feel the rest of the section is struggling with envy. They understand the obstacle in front of them and the difficulty of it brings out a lot of emotions. Discussion turns childish from time to time on here, but it is a forum so that is par for the course. |
