Similar to the last two threads.
What if in an individual tournament, two teammates meet in the finals...and they don't wrestle the match. How should it be scored and...does it count as a loss.

My guess is it doesn't count as a match....but looking for your opinion.

Per MSHSL guidelines in order for a medical FF to be counted the onsite medical staff would have to rule the athlete is not able to wrestle and then it would be a medical FF and not count on the record.

In your example this is a FF and would count on both records.

The whole idea around it is coaches used to enter kids into tournaments late in the season with just a few matches left on the count and then if they happen to get beat in the semis (assuming wrestling all the way back to 6th) kids would get 2 more matches and wanted to FF those matches and not count them.
