I dont have much pull in that area unfortunately. Sometimes we have to stay in our lanes.

......and by "much", I mean "NONE"......

I didn't enjoy the last Cox Taylor match. Taylor chased him for 230 of the end and cox did nothing. I don't blame Taylor for being upset

Taylor should be upset at himself for not being able to score against an injured opponent.

Cox would have been called stalling in a folk style match. He should have been called for passivity multiple times he never attempted to stay in the center or attack in the second period. I don't think the rules allow for being injured as a pass on being passive. Is there injury time in international? The stream from Flo didn't mention it and it seemed like Cox was down a long time.

I don't see the upside in helping an injured wrestler make a team, now you have a team where 1/8th need crutches and the international officials won't be as understanding off a bum knee.

That weight doesn't wrestle until August 26th at worlds so it's not like he has to turn around and be ready in a couple weeks. Even then, Burroughs broke his ankle just a few weeks before the 2013 worlds and still went out and won it.

On the other side...if I'm David Taylor I'm not changing a thing and I'm preparing every day to win a 2017 world championship as it's always possible he still gets that chance.

One of the things that has been overlooked in all the buzz over Cox/Taylor & Burroughs/Dake is that in the jrs McKee/Gomez had the most exciting three match final that I have seen.
