Greetings to everyone... I just wanted to drop a quick note on here and let everyone know that the World Team Trials are being held in Sioux City, Iowa this weekend. I hope many of you are planning to make your way out here and support us Minnesota guys chasing our dreams! Minnesota will be represented by several freestyle and greco wrestlers... hopefully we have a large number of fans cheering us on. I promise for it to be a great experience for wrestling fans of ALL AGES! Wrestling is on Saturday and Sunday... NO excuses! Get in your vehicles... cough up some money for gas... and hit the road! I'm planning on having a get-together on Sunday evening (hopefully to celebrate) for any Minnesota fans. It will include FREE "adult beverages" until we run out! If you're going to be here and are interested in some post tournament festivities... PM me. Any questions, let me know.

Damion Hahn qualified for the best two out of three final at 211.5 freestyle. He beat the #2 seed, Nik Fekete in the semi's 1-0,0-3,3-1. He's got big Daniel Cormier in the final. Winner goes to Worlds!

Jake Clark and Chas Betts will meet in the first round for 185 Greco.

Nice to see the Minnesota boys going at it.

Yes, Eustice beat Henry in the first period 4-2. Henry won the second period 3-1 and he also won the third period by scoring last in a 2-2 period. By scoring last in the third period he was awarded the period and the match.

This is a rule I'd love to see high school adopt. Give the choice in double overtime to the guy who scores last, not the one who scores first.

He argues against changing over to freestylish rules for high school and he doesn't even know how they work.

Select rules Schrupp, select rules. I haven't argued against this one, I'll have to think about it for a while.

Big Congratulations to Jake for making the World Team! It sure looks like we have a lot of our guys that are very close to joining Jake on the team next year, or maybe in the Olympics.
