Does anyone know what the best SUMMER wrestling camps are in the Twin Cities for wrestlers K-6th, who probably would NOT be looking for high intensity?

K-6 is a pretty wide range (maturity). Maybe it would help if you put exact grade(s).

So pick one. Our youth program coves K-8th. If you know of a good mention, any grade, please mention it.

If you live in SE MN than the Clash Camp would be an awesome choice.

Augsburg camp i think it's right after school gets out, great camp! My son went there from 2nd grade through 7th he would have went this last year but went to schoolboy duels. The camp councilors are great with the little guys. Also some great team competition.

My only beef with Augsburg is they have it the same week as Northern Plains! We went one year, skipped NP andit was good, but we won't skip NP again.

Competitive edge is an awesome camp in Rogers. Great ratio and instructors. It is a day camp not an overnight one. Last year they offered it 3 times, June, Aug and MEA camp. I think they were 3-4 days.

J. Robinson has an excellent overnight camp, two levels, youth and regular...so if you have an experienced older 5th grade up, register for the regular one.

KEN Chertow is good but a long drive, Stevens Pt. WI

I would like to see more fall camps similar to Competitive edge, to get a jump on the season. The problem with early summer ones, is they tend to forget after taking the summer off to fish. I think J. Robinson has one for 6th-12th graders in the fall, Pinnacle does as well youth and HS, in the fall.

Any other suggestions???

Cambridge-Isanti puts on a great summer camp.
Also look into Pinnacle (pinnaclewrestlingschool.com). Jared, Luke and others always put on a great school.

J robinson is awesome as a motivater and technique stuff. Those camps do magic in turning good wrestlers into great wrestlers.
