Yeah, I have been to the World Folkstyle Championships at Ford Field last year in Detroit, MI. This year it is at Cobo Hall in Detroit. 1200 wrestlers last year. Grand Nationals was in Omaha they had about 1000 wrestlers for the 3 days and 3 different styles of wrestling. Ohio Tournament of Champs in Columbus is the biggest 1 day tournament in the world with 3500 wrestlers 2 years ago and 2600 last year. Kind of different rules, 3 minute matches running time. Something different though. Pretty cool tournament. I know Grand Nationals this year will be held in Montana, and the Ironman Nationals which was held in PA last year will be held in Omaha. All these events from my experience have been ran very smoothly and have good success. |

I think the competition was like anywhere you go. They had some world beaters, and they have kids that struggle. I feel that in any National tournament you go to, no matter what Organization is running it, as long as the tournament is established and you have the overall numbers. I feel you will run into the good kids. Just my experience. |

Yes, I would recommend any of AAU's National events, they are all quality ran tournaments with a lot of kids and competition. If you are ever able to get a team to go down to the disney duals, this is something I would recommend over anything. |
