Vegas being right might apply to boxing; but you are incorrect in that assumption about MMA....that's why there is so much interest in the sport...the underdog appears to win a lot more in MMA...the four ounce gloves are the equalizing factor.

...but regardless, favorite or no favorite, Penn will take a beating against Sberk...this is a horrible matchup for him.

and he was dominating hughes again until getting injured. how can anybody think sherk is better than hughes. all i read is cardio this and that, . i know it was on acident but he still had nandrolone in his system. sherk was on roids his last fight were everyone is talking about how amazing his cardio looked. lets see him without the extra help. also i never seen bj gas at 155, all that is from 170 and above. sherk won't even be able to take penn down. penn rnc 1st rd

Pen is a much better fighter than Jardine, to compary the two is crazy:

Penn is 12-4

Wins over:
Din Thomas (22-8 record, Ranked #4)
Caol Uno (25-10, Ranked #14)
Takanori Gomi (28-3, Ranked #1)
Matt Hughs ( 42-6)
Renzo Gracie
Jens Pulver (22-8)
Joe Stevenson (28-8, Ranked #12)

Jardine: 13-3

The only decent fighters he has fought are Gouveia, Griffin & Liddell. LEts face it, Gouveia is decent but not a contender and he just showed in the other two wins that anyone has a punchers chance.

Plus these two are not in the same weights. Penn has fought the best and beat most of them. Jardine fought mostly scrubs and has a few wins against good competition.

Din Thomas's record is padded with wins from non descript fighters...the same goes for Caol Uno and Gomi....Renzo Gracie was good, but was just old when he fought a bloated BJ. And Jens 5 years ago was a great fighter...until he decided to make his fights more exciting.

For years I listened to the BS about how the Pride Fighters were the ELITE of the MMA world. Vanderlie Silva, Ninja Huas, Heath Hearing and the bozo's they brought over are suggesting something entirely different

BJ will never again win against Hughes, GSP, or Sherk...the ENIGMA will be exposed on May 24th

Penn was dominating in his fights against Hughes and against St. Pierre before he ended up losing. I guess if you are just a Sherk fan and talking down the competition, then so be it, I can understand. But you're fooling yourself if you think Penn isn't twice the fighter that Jardine is.

And by the way, aren't Anderson Silva and Quinton Jackson former fighters from Pride who didn't own a belt over there? And what are they doing now? Oh yeah, owning belts in the UFC.

Both organizations had/have outstanding fighters, and I am just glad we get to see some of the matchups that we could only speculate on a few years ago.

Your arguement about Penn supports mine.....Penn was ahead but faded due to lack of cardio...nothing will change....

Pride fights for Anderson Silva
lost to Daiju Takase (Who??)
Win against Carlos Newton Pride 25
win Alexander Otsuka (tomato can)
win against Stiebling pride 21

The UFC fights are what when Anderson transformed himself into a complete fighter. He has fought for the UFC a total of 6 times...its during this time that he has transformed himself, not by fighting Takase, overrated Newton (the sh*t kicking he got from Lindland is unparralled) and Stiebling (b fighter at best).

Jackson is an exception to the rule...I love his style, and wish him nothing but success. Its guys like him that will make the sport grow....not guys like BJ who speak of themselves in the third person.

I'm not saying Penn is a Phenom or anything but there's no denying his talent. Persionally, I don't like him and don't think he's the best fighter at the weight but comparing him to Jardine is just dumb.

Mcrow is saying the same thing that I am. BJ may be an @ss, but you can't deny that he has a ton of talent, and alot more than Jardine.

I think you're taking it personally that I said Penn is more talented than Jardine. Don't. I'm not a big fan of his either. And I hope Sherk takes it to him.

My greats:
A Silva
Nick Diaz ( I love the Diaz jiu jitsu)
Matt Lindland
Big Nog
Dan Henderson

My dislikes:
Michael Bisping
Kenny Florian
Tim Sylvia (boring, but I respect that he's a good fighter)

It seems Sherk and Jardine are going to win you a lot on these fights!

It looks like you'll hit the jackpot baby!

Let me know how that goes for you in a couple of weeks...

Jardine will not win against Silva...Jardine has a bad habit of ducking his head down when he punches...this will fit right into Silva's style....KO by knee's in the clinch in the first round.

Sherk will win however...I will be glad to tell you how I did after it is all said and done. Sherk by war....

It appears Logan's next fight will be scheduled for June 8 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. He will be fighting Kazuo "Grabaka Hitman" Misaki (19-8)

Quote from sherdog.com

Misaki was part of the inaugural Sengoku lineup in March, when he took a second-round submission victory over Shooto world champion Siyar Bahadurzada (Pictures). The once-beaten Clark has spent the last year and a half under Zuffa's UFC and WEC brands. He is coming off a first-round pounding of Scott Harper in March.
At first I did not even know (Clark's) name, but after some research I found out that he is a very good opponent," Misaki said. "From what I have seen of him, he appears to be well-rounded. What's standing out is his size. At 6-foot-2, he is very tall for a middleweight, which might pose some problems. All in all I am very honored to fight a quality opponent like him."

Misaki said he would have preferred to fight American Top Team's Jorge Santiago (Pictures), who submitted his Grabaka teammate Yuki Sasaki (Pictures) on Sunday. However, the Brazilian broke his hand in the fight. A Misaki-Santiago confrontation could take place at Sengoku 5 in September.

It appears Misaki has no clue what he is getting in to.....Logan by decapitation.

Bisping is brittish... thats enough in my book to be counted as a "hate", however I don't care what kind of heat I take for this, I really don't mind Mir... as a commentator, he's piss poor at best, but as a fighter I think he's entertaining.... If GSP wasn't such a phenominal fighter, his French-Canadian-ness would put him on my "hate" list as well, lol.
