There on Sunday for Freestyle. Best run tournament we have ever attended. Though the day was long, everything ran smooth and there was never a problem. Could have been better concessions though. Kind of weak for the spectator. Geared toward the wrestler and that was okay but there really wasn't anything nearby if you didn't want bananas or pizza.

The announcer was good but then this was probably the first place other than NYWA state that had a good/great PA system. I am always amazed at how much is spent on a building but nothing done for a PA system.

Good Job MN/USA and Augsburg!

Yeah, that announcer on Saturday did a great job. So did the guy who made all the announcements prior to matches being called on Sunday. Ok, the guy on Sunday did pretty good too.

Thank you to all the volunteers who were there officiating, pairing, etc. Thank you as well to Sam, Jared, Mark and all the Augsburg wrestlers for everything they did. And thank you to all the wrestlers, coaches, parents and fans who showed up. I may be biased but in my opinion this is the best tournament in MN every year...I love watching kids from all classes battle it out one minute and then 5 minutes later standing their bs'ing like long lost friends.

And a really big thanks to all those who helped me keep an eye on Cael, wrestled with him (he did tell his mom last night that he beat Jayson Ness and Paul Norgren among a few others), played games with him or just chased him around. I'm sorry that none of you were able to beat him at Hi-Ho Cherry Oh but now you know how I feel....I'm 0-15 against him in that game.

There was some incredible wrestling this weekend. Especially on Sunday. There were some incredible matchups. Thorn and Kelliher was a great match. First and second period went to a clench and thorn won the toss both times. Janssen and Wiseman was fun to watch. Janssen had a five in the first period that was probably the best throw in the entire tournament. He just picked wiseman up and practically threw him so hard that both of them did a flip it was crazy. Janssen ended up pinning wiseman in the second period. Kahnke and Cremier matched up in the first round. Cremier gave Kahnke a good match. The list goes on and on. Really well run and fun to watch.

It's all good. We all know what would have happened had the Shining Dynasty not retired.

Are we ever gonna stop hearing about this? Your club would be 10x greater if it weren't for you coming on here and turning every thread into a HAIL CENTRAL! Thread... Good for you guys, your doing great stuff... but bragging about it is getting really old... its called modesty.
