I watched the Kimbo Slice fight tonight on ABC I have never seen a fight that was so pathetic. Kimbo shouldve been stopped at the end of the second and when the fight was stopped in the third you could tell the ref knew he was losing his job if slice lost...Thats why Slice is a joke compared to the UFC fighters. Would not last a round with Mir, Lesnar, Cotouer, or any credible HWT or light HWT for that matter. |

No kidding. i was very disappointed with that fight. i give Kimbo credit for doing well on the feet against Thompson, and he had him rocked quite a bit. But, Thompson got screwed and Kimbo is given a win to flaunt. You dont see the UFC doing this for Lesnar... yet... |

I was disappointed with the previous fight before kimbos ,and i was hoping for a better match. I mean kimbo=usually amazung. Not last night. they both looked out of shape ,and wrestling coaches would have cried watching thompson take kimbo down all night. At the end of the second when david was throwing elbows and kimbo was stuck . I thought it was over , but kimbo remains 3-0.......3-0 not a big deal, but 3-0 is 3-0...plus kimbo was making a six-figure income on that fight alone..KIMBOOOOOO |

Many may say kimbos fight was a joke... but you cant deny the man that he won... in the replays at the end when they show thompson blockin all of kimbos punches with his face... thompson looked like his IQ was slapped all the way back to first grade... i dont think he could even color inside the lines after that fight... But then again he had that same look on his face before he even stepped into the cage... the fight proved one thing... Kimbo has ALOT of work to do before he is going to be taking on anybody that is in shape or that knows how to take at least a 2nd grade takedown attempt... his street fighting saved him in that fight... as tired as he was he still had some power behind those haymakers... The rest of the night was sort of a snore fest... Minus three nasty liver kicks by Lawler(should have stuck with them) And of course its always a sight to see Gina fight(i couldn't look away from the TV) |

Kimbo Would get Handled by any legit HWT. His standup game is alright, but he is a fish out of water when hes on the ground. Thompson had it won in the second round no doubt. And how unprofessional of Thompson to show up with an undrained ear? |

I totally agree that kimbo would get handled by a legit heavyweight... he was suckin wind like crazy come second round... i knew the fight was going to go into the later rounds... thompson had fought fujita in pride and was punched about sixty times in the head and had the same caveman stare and never got knocked down... but the fight saturday should put to rest any talk of who would win between lesnar and kimbo... at this point in both of their careers... Lesnar destroys Kimbo... Too quick and too athletic... Lesnar could take him down and slam him all day long... but kimbo always has the punchers chance... but with a coach like bas... im sure he will learn some new tricks along the way |

That was a bad night of fights on the whole. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for the sport, if you want people o keep watching, you can't call a fight if a guy gets poked in the eye, and you gotta let Thompson hit the mat at the end of that fight, he was still defending himself, granted he wasn't far from going down, but they were being way to cautious, somebody getting horribly injured on the network debut would be bad, but those last two fights getting called early could be just as bad. That guy in the second fight that came out in the robe and fireworks and whatnot was also bad, people are gonna look at these fights like they do all-star wrestling if they keep that up. |

Kimbo is not even a top 20 heavyweight, but he gets promoted like he is. Its not his fault. The guy has came a long a way. I don't get why people hate on him so much. |

I cant say that i hate kimbo... he is fun to watch in the fights that they put him in... i do feel that he should not be hyped as a top 20 fighter... he is not close... but like brock... he seems to be takin the transition into the sport very seriously and lookin to better himself... with a coach like bas u are only going to get better... if he learns somethings and stay healthy along the way he could easily become a threat... just not at that level right now like the promoters like to tell u he is... ill be cheerin him and brock both on hopin that they can make a big wave in both of their respected organizations... |
