I would guess that the 170 favarites would be Fraiser(Hutch) and Dahlke(SW) if they're both here. I do however see this as a fiarly open weight with both Hammerlund and Connor graduating. It wouldnt supprise me to see someone jump up and contend always hard to say what weights kids will be at this early. Maybe Grand Marshall could let us know who chaska has at weights im not very familiar with thier team.

160 OR 170 will probably be Jonny Zarnke 10th grade if he wins the spot Freshman varsity starter 2nd 1/2 of the year 9-11 .
4th at MNUSA 152LB
6thAT 2AAA SECTIONS 152LB

He has his Football weight on 175 lber now
Should be at 164 for the JJ classic

as far as the rest of the team I dont know anything or am I authorized to discuss it.

:X :'( :-/

Has Zach grown a lot - Parriott is registered for 132 @ Super 32 - so probably 132/138 for high school am guessing

Is Siegle registered at for any preseason tournaments at a new weight? If not, any Scott West fans have an idea for what he weighs?

I would add GSL and Watertown to that list. Watertown looses a lot to graduation but will still field a solid team. GLS is returning almost everyone from last year and is anchored by a talented group of upperclassmen. Less than a month from first practices!!!

While Watertown will still be a good club I don't see them as contenders, especially if Ernst is out as rumored with a football injury. I think losing all those seniors like Davion (285), and Torres (195-182) make them very vulnerable up top. I believe Hutch to be the favorite along with Scott west. In my opinion you better have a comfortable lead heading into 170-182 against Hutch or you are in trouble. Fraser, Jordahl, Jordahl and Filk are going to be tough this year. Scott west has their studs but most of all they never cease to impress me with the progress their supporting wrestlers make each year. GSL should be a very good club but I don't think they can match the other top teams. New Prague is a club that I believe can contend but only if Preston is able to come back. I think if Preston is not able to come back and losing M Pariot and Sirek at 195will leave them just a little short of beating Hutch and Scott West. If Preston is healthy by sections I see it as a 3 way slug fest. I wish my Delano team was a title contender this year but I think we are still 1 or 2 years away, although I believe we will do better than last year. Jim

I believe Ernst is out, which will really hurt the royals. To bad for Ernst, this was his year to make a trip to the X

If you look back a page to August and October you will find some inital thoughts on kids to follow as well as a lineup for Scott West. For New Prague, Preston will be out with a football injury but thier middle weigths will be reall tough. There are some really good wrestlers on JV last year who will fill in the seniors lost.

The Jordahl brothers will make some noise in 2AA this year. I see Paxton standing on the stand at the "X".(195)
Hutch will have a nice string of three in the upper weights with Fraser in there.

Derek Dahlke Scott West (170?) has a nice chance placing in the top three at Sections.

Parriott is a horse from NP, 138?

Just a few kids I have seen around from that neck of the woods.

Stick a fork in the Chaska football Hawks, they are done. Owatonna vs. Brainerd, an all outstate final, gotta love it!

For preseason, 2AA is represented well. I suspect most all of the individuals that made the list will earn a trip to St. Paul but probably not necessarily at the present weight. One can argue the order and placement of Hutch, NP and SW but all three belong in the top 10. With the addition of Waconia in the LM it shows the caliber of wrestling in Section 2.

I think people are also forgetting about GSL/LP, St. Peter and Tri-City United. All three teams have solid kids coming back.

For Tri-City Brownlee's ranked #1, and Selly's #2. Can't expect any better than that. Who else would you consider top 10 worthy from Tri-City????

Scott West came in 3rd at the Hastings duals. Beat Montecello 60-12. Lost on criteria to Prior Lake, 26-26. Beat Albert Lea for 3rd. I just got a text of results, so I don't know any breakdowns of matches. Zack Seigle beat Prior Lake's #1 ranked 152 lber, Blake Carlisle, 4-0. Hard to believe he got that big.

It looks like they wrestled Stillwater first, so that may be the score of their dual.
