I doubt the weight Berg or Parriott is at will factor into which weight Flynn goes. It will be based on what his body will support. Regardless...Lets hope we see a match up there at some point! |

The scott west lineup is off a little. .. Menton graduated, not sure that Huss is big enough for 113, Piche only weighs 127... will be interesting to see where the lighter guys end up and who will fill in up top. |

I know it is a stretch in the lower weights, but Scott West will have to find a way to get both Justin and Jackson Stauf in and Huss. I'm sure Flynn will end the season at 132, but in the beginning he might only weigh 138 but the team will need him up at 145. |

Hutch graduated a lot of seniors.. especially upper weights, but they've always had such a solid program so I wouldn't be surprised to see some younger/JV kids from last year step up. I would also look out for Waconia, young team with a lot of talent. |

I would say the probability is high that those in this group will at some time in their future be wrestling at the Xcel Energy Center. For a couple the wait will only be a couple months. Edited by Cattle Catcher, Nov 5 2014, 05:03 PM.

It looks and sounds like everyone is looking forward for the 2014-2015 high school season to get underway! Only a few weeks and you can see plenty of matches within the section to see how everyone is matching up. Section 2AA is a very competitive section! Good luck to all teams and individuals this upcoming season. |

It is nice to see Griff kid added to the mix. 25 kids at 113 and 145 make two exciting weights to watch!! |

From what I have seen in the off-season competitions, it looks like Brennan Rutt has grown so that he will be a strong starter. The middle part of the line-up should be tough as nails starting with Sam, Chase, Griffin, James, and Nick Knutson. Although on paper the upper weights may not look really outstanding, there is some really good experience coming up from last year's JV. It all depends how much some have grown. |

Five 2AA wrestlers occupying the #1 ranking in the initial report. Some high but very achievable expectations. |

Surprising though, many of the weight classes have 0 or 1 Section wrestler ranked in the top 10. |

A few things I noticed on these rankings... As sitnspin said, there are quite a few weights such as 152, 182, and 195 with no section 2 wrestlers ranked. And weights such as 113, 120, 138, 145, and 170 with only one ranked wrestler. Can anyone think of some wrestlers at these weights that could step up and prove themselves this year? Also... In 4 out of the 5 weights that we have a wrestler ranked #1 (excluding 132), there is no other section 2 wrestlers ranked. This could potentially be a chance for some less known guys to get their ticket to the ex. |

I think the no#1 is sowed up at 170 there should be some good battles for the 2nd spot. Weber from GSL Fraser from Hutch Hemze from Waconia but who knows if these guys will be at this weight. 182 could be a Battle favorite has to be Wagiloski from Waconia. |

I would put Kallenbach from W-M in the mix at 182 with Wagiloski from Waconia. I believe there last three matches were decided by a very slim margin with Wagiloski winning two and Kallenbach winning one of those matches. That is if there both at 182 at the end of the season. |

I would bet by the end of the year at least 3 teams from 2AA will be ranked in the top 12. I really think 4 will be ranked with 1 or 2 in the lean and mean. |

Rutt's currently ranked 10th at 160, I'd say he's already in the mix. ;) |
