I updated my spread sheet by adding current preseason rankings and the weight the wrestler was ranked at. I also did my best guess at Delano's start of the season lineup. I will try and add complete rosters to all towns with the weight they are wrestling at as season results are posted. Looks to be a very competitive Wide open Scott West has the highly ranked kids 7 really good kids and probably another 7 better than Average wrestlers. I got to give them the early Nod. I think 2nd place is wide open for NP,Waconia,Hutch or GSLLP |

Waconia is a good up and coming team. But if anyone is going to beat scott west it is going to have to be NP. |

I don't see that Griffin and Berg can only get 12 points a dual after Berg i think they will struggle but what do I know. I think Waconia has a more rounded team they don't have the huge Names but they have a lot of good wrestlers throughout the line up. 1-Scott West 2-Waconia Anything can happen I wish everyone a Healthy season... B) |

Think NP will have their hands full with Scott West - but believe they should make the Section Finals and give them a run. Have a solid returning core. With the exception of Lafavor at heavyweight, New Prague will have pretty much the same group coming back in the upper weights as they did most of last year during duals. With so much power in the middle weights, I would not be surprised to see a lot of shifting around to get better matchups. Scott West does have a very strong bottom half, but if teams keep it close, such as Hutchinson which has some really strong kids at the upper weights, they could struggle at the end of the meet. Rest assured Scott West will bring it at every meet though. |

I hear through the grape vine that Vouk is not with Watertown this year. Can anyone confirm that or is that just a rumor. |

Maybe Wagiolski will be 195 and than you got Gluck at 220 I know they lost THE HWT. But they got back a senior Hemze who was out last year it will be interesting I am pumped for the CHASKA/CHAN,WML,GSLLP AND HUTCH NIGHT 1-29-15 Chaska/Chan gets to wrestle together full team/line up with a few Good kids and few Decent kids and few Average Kids. ;) |

Most football rosters fudge kids weight on the heavy side. With that said I noticed Dylan Gluck was listed as 185lbs on their roster. He is a good wrestler but how much weight can he give up and still be effective? I believe the Owen Hemze coming back is going to do very well, but is also listed on the football roster as 185lbs. |

I think I am going to wait 1 more week before updating my roster spread sheet so that the kids who were out because of the football season will be wrestling and my rosters will be a little more accurate, at least until kids start dropping to their end of season weights that is. Jim

Somewhat of a rebuilding year for GSL graduating 5 seniors who were all major contributors. I hear they were also missing a couple of starters for this duel. They should still be solid at many weights but have a lot of young wrestlers getting their first real varsity experience. I would expect plenty of improvement as they year goes on, young guys gain experience, and everyone gets down to the weight. |
