I don't see New Prague beating Hutch, Scott West and Hutch will be wrestling for a state tournament bid.
Oops - I think I saw the cart rolling down the road, and a few horses chasing it! :)

Hutch could not pull off even one close match, all of them went to W-M. New Prague better be ready because it looks like W-M is ready for a dogfight!

Being from Hutch, hats off to WM, you've got a tough squad, there were some really good matches. Good luck against NP. Let's send a new team to State from 2AA

Watertown's win over Hutch should not be unexpected and is also not a mark against Hutchinson that they had an off night. Section 2AA has a bunch of really good, balanced teams and (as of February 6th) 27 kids that are ranked. Two complete "all star" teams could be formed out of only 12 teams and you would only need to add one wrestler who was "formerly" ranked (and there are several formerly ranked wrestlers out there who are very good and a number that are probably just on the cusp of making the list). Watertown's win shows the depth and quality of this section.

2AA Semi Finals on KCHK Radio for both rounds. Also can download the app for free (KCHK). Should be some really good duals - with Adam Bartels on the call!

I will not be listening to Adam, because I'll be in Mankato. But Adam does a great job. I enjoy his knowledge and enthusiasm.

Haven't seen any individual predictions yet so i might as well give it a try. Top 2 IMO with a few extra listed that could crack the top.

106: 1)Luthens HUT 2)Huss SW- I see these two as the big favorites with Voss (Wac) and Chmielewski (GSL) fighting it out for third

113: 1)Sjomeling DEL 2) Stauffacher SW - Tucker is the odds on favorite here Knowlen (WML) Gillett (STP) as well as a couple more could challenge for second fairly deep weight should be fun. .

120: 1)Pundsack HUT 2)Piche SW - Possibly the most open weight this year. I could see any combination of Kohls (WML) Reyant (NP) Tschudi (DEL) Wagener (WAC) and my picks making it though here.

126: 1) Drew HUT 2) Kelvington SW - Top 2 could go either way. Barring an upset I see Logelin (NP) Duske (WML) and Dundas (MW) battling for third.

132: 1) Flynn SW 2) Sweeney WML - The battle here is for second with Schultz (WAC) Seigle (SW) and Sweeney with him being the favorite(slight) if healthy (had heard he was dealing with injury)

138: 1) Berge NP 2) Richter GSL - Don't see anyone beating either of these two here. Big group battle for third

145: 1) Parriott NP 2) Loosbrock CHA - Parriott is the clear favorite. Jobe (WML) and Donnay (GSL) could give Loosbrock a good match a few others could be in the mix as well.

I am sure I have some weights wrong and missed some guys I will try and do the upper weights when get time. Excited for team semis and finals today. I'm guessing we will know a little more about individual after today. My pick for today SW but pulling for Watertown to keep the upset train rolling.
