I'm not sure about either line up and who is all going to be wrestling, but I'm assuming Gluck is out and Mueller is not down to 126, and Huss is not at 113. 106- Schackle dec. Burroughs 3-0 SW 113- Vos dec Staffacher 3-3 120- Huss DEC Garnatz 6-3 SW 126- Staffacher TF Stapleton 11-3 SW 132- Wagener FALL Pichie 11-9 SW 138- Schultz DEC Seigle 11-12 WAC 145- Kinneberg DEC Dvorak 11-15 WAC 152- Kelvington TF Reich 16-15 SW 160- Hemze Fall Johnson 16-21 WAC 170- Logelin DEC Carter 16- 24 WAC 182- Buesgens FALL Scholla 22-24 WAC 195- Waligoski MAJ Menke 22-28 WAC 220- Hawkins FALL Grieves 22-34 WAC HWT- Schatz FALL Fleming 28-34 WAC It will be interesting seeing who will get the flip. I wonder if we will see a Huss vs Voss match? I would think if we did Voss might still be the favor this time around. Also it will be interesting to see where Buesgens goes, Waconia should beable to see ahead of time if they are planning on bumping Buesgens up. Also Waciona will put either Gluck or Hawkins at 220. |

Not sure why Huss, Carter and Schatz didn't wrestle, but having those three men missing was certainly the difference in the outcome. Hopefully they work on whatever ails them to be ready for the next encounter. No team can function without all of the parts in place!

33-21, and I think having those 3 wrestlers in the lineup obviously make this different. Waconia won the battle, but so did NP last year and look what happened in sectionals. Scott West is a different team in Sections. Should be fun either way with any of 4 teams with a shot at state! |

No excuses being made. We got beat with the guys that wrestled. Waconia is a tough team that's well coached. They were the better team tonight |

To be honest, New Prague won it the first time and tied the second time. But it is what it is. That being said it should be a lot closer come sections with Hemze and Gluck better and Huss and Schatz making weight. Will it make up that many points? A lot of close matches. |

Come sections I have to say I give this match up to Scott West. Seeing the line up they used last night. They have many changes they can make and with it as close as it was the only change Waconia really has is Gluck back. So Scott West on this one.

I am not really familiar with WM but Andy Traen did not wrestle and so they moved Jackson Sweeney up to 152 who went against Trevor Skogerboe rather than Steve Kwam. Sweeney got a major and Kwam got a fall. New Prague has had injuries from the start of the season and consistently has had two to three varsity out. You have to go with who you have though. Things really got loud after Holgate pinned Heck at 220, the score was 27 - 30 and Schueble and Wacker were still 0 -0 at the end of the first period. |

Nice job Ttman21 to get this conversation started. You may have Scmitz at 182 a bit low. Keep in mind that just this past Saturday he beat Striggow from Orono who is (at least on paper) two spots higher that Buesgens and three spots higher then Brejle. Regardless, 182 will be a deep class. You could add Holgate from New Prague into the mix at 195. He lost to Simonette 0-1 early in the season and pinned Heck from Watertown last week. Heck may be at 195 because 220 will not be a cake walk.

If Hutch beats Watertown - they could potentially be number 2 seed, and Scott West and Waconia meet in Semi-Finals. If they lose they could drop to 4 or even 5 seed, since they lost to New Prague. |
