I'm routing for Scottwest so Foley could get the 3 seed at state. For all you 6 AA wrestling fans coming to waconia today to watch 2AA wrestling I think if you show up by 330 you should have no trouble finding a good seat. ;)

But if you are a week away from individuals and you get chance to wrestle someone you may very well see, wouldn't you as a coach ensure the wrestler gets that experience? The kids don't wrestle for the fan's entertainment. Most have an end goal of making it to state and finishing as high as they can. In doing so, they and their coaches, will do what best to achieve that goal. JMO, my senior year when I wrestled 171, I would of loved to see a wrestler that weighed 140 come up and try to wrestle me. That would of been a highlight of my wrestling career possibly beating a nationally ranked wrestler. If people would of told me he would pin me, especially from my own team, I would of laughed in there face. If you think wrestling the same kid over and over has more "benefit", then obviously we have different views. In a time we need to grow wrestling, I hate to tell you Jeep, the fans help grow wrestling. Money grows wrestling, the more fans, the more money. If wrestling a national ranked wrestler is going to prevent you from making it to state, then there are bigger problems. YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!!!!!!!! I wish more people would understand that money helps grow wrestling and through growth you get respect. respect like actually getting a double elimination state tournament. If the people want it and the people will pay for it. It will get done.
