Football is starting soon and that means wrestling isn't far behind.

2AA looks wide open again...predictions?
1) Hutch
2) Waconia
3) SW
4) WM
5) NP

and now it starts :)
As of now, section seeds:
1) SW
2) Hutch
3) WAC
4) NP
5) W/M
6) St. Peter
7-12 ???

Any upsets in the making???
I think the winner of Hutch vs Waconia wins the section.

Pretty sure no one gets by SW again this year. How many years in a row has it been that they represent at the X? Hutch and Wac grind each other up and SW gets the spoils. ;)

Agreed that KM is tough. They would likely win AAA. Balance in 2AA is greater than its been for many years, but SW won't be letting go of the section trophy this year. Getting the right match ups will just keep it close for Hutch and Wac. The only wildcard I see are injuries.

IMO, 182 Buesgens-SW-1st, Nick Nolan WM takes 2nd place!

IMO, 195 Will Storch WEM-1st, who already beat Stenzel and Kallenbach wins 195, and I give Kallenbach the 2nd place spot, he knows what it's about to make state.

IMO, 220 will be Jakes-1st and Menke 2nd, Hutchinson seems to always have some tough breaks at the section tourney, this year won't be any exception.

Six titles for Waconia?

I'd think they would be the favorite to win the dual portion if this were accurate.

Sjomeling has dominated him every match they have ever wrestled going back to when Delano was still in section 2. It would be very tough for stauffacher to beat him but I agree it would be am interesting matchup!
