Scott West obviously has Goldberg and Kivel.

They also return plenty of expierenced wrestlers from last year.

Betchwars  6-5
Siegle      10-13
Zilverberg  21-13
Dvorak  23-13
Dillon Fogarty  12-9
Connor Fogarty  22-14
Kroells  7-5
Hentges  18-15
Goldberg  31-5
Kivel    32-4

Looks like Bigpoppa11 found the same MSHSL page as I did goTigersgo. Like I said, they have Kivel, Goldberg and a hand full of average.

Most of those kid's records makes them look worse than they actually are. Thats from wrestling tough competition. Where as MLLC's records make them look better than what they actually are.

2009 Returning Wrestlers 2008 bouts

MLLC VS Scott West
Jeff Miller 6 to 5 Connor Fogarty
Nate Friederich 9 to 4 Jake Siegle
Johnny Krocak 4 to 0 Alex Krautkremer
Steven Rosier 5 to 4 Nick Dvorak
Andrew Engel (no match)
Zach Friederich 5 to 4 Tyler Zilverberg
Cody Heitner fall 1:47 Scott Dvorak
Jeff Tiede Loss fall Tyler Zilverberg
Zack Rutt 3 to 1 Dillon Folgarty
Tim Eckland (no match)
Matt Lloyd (no match)

But it is not enough to fill the holes
Enough said

Scott West wrestled in the Christmas Tourney, the Clash and the Rumble on the Red, as well as duels with Simley and Hastings.

Who will be SW 103 and 112 pounders- What does Betchwars weigh? Will he be 103 or will Seigal and Zilverberg get a shot? Is Clobes still a potential 103? I believe Waconia's Braunhausen will be too big for 103 and Fleming might be too big for 112. How about Rydell and LLoyd? Any others? As always 103 should be very entertaining.

*Rutt-New Prague

*Will we see a female wrestler in the state high school tournament this year? Good luck Nat., I'm sure there will be a lot of people pulling for you.

If she stays at 103, Rutt has an outside chance of going state. Not likely but could happen.

Elissa Reinsma from Fulda, OTOH, has a legit shot at going to state this year if she stays @ 103.

Reinsma has been a very big 103 the last 2 years, can she cut all that weight again?

I would say Braunhausen, WC will be back down, saw him early in the year and he wasn't that big.
New Ulm has another Hoffman coming up soon don't they? Think he was at the Rumble in the JV tourney.
I think Rutt will be back at 103.

Badboy, I agree with you that Braunhausen would also be considered one of the favorites if he is at 103#, but I think you see him @ 112# this year.

How about Matt Elsenpeter will he still be giving up 10 pounds this year? If not he could be very strong in ths sec. Who has grown the most in the off season. It's usualy not the kids that keep wrestling,Sping and summer.

I pretty sure Clobes will be at 103 this year also, should be the favorite to win sections.

Congratulations to the sec. 2AA Cadet Greco All Americans:

Clobes-91#, Hutch, 2nd
Z. Rutt-171#, MLLC, 7th

Also congratulations to woman’s freestyle All American N. Rutt, 102#, New Prague, 7th

All three will be in the hunt for section 2AA finals this year. I think if Clobes can make 91# in July, he should be able to make 105# in Feb.

He must have been better than 2-7. According to T-Stuff, Worm went 3-0 for the team at State last year against PEM, Perham and Milaca, so he must be pretty decent.

Worm is not wrestling for Scott West anymore. His dad got a job in a different state.

Any idea what Delano's line-up would look like and what major tournaments they are in for the upcoming season?
How would they line-up with Scott West?

I think it will come down to Delano and Scott West for the section finals.

MLLC, Watertown, Hutch and Waconia is the next group of teams, too close to call.
