Saw one close match with M. Devorak-SW and Minette-NP that went to OT, with Devorak getting the take down. Standick-WML also had a close match with Delwiche-GSL winning by 3 at the very end. I think 130 might be the toughest/deepest and hardest weight group to predict this year with 6 solid wrestlers: Stangret-Wac. 27-3 Standick-WML 26-10 Delwiche-GSL 32-5 Hansen-Hutch 31-6 Minette-NP 22-13 M. Dvorak-SW 25-9 I really could not say who I think will end up being the final two out of this group. Standick vs. Stangret in Semis, Hansen vs. Dvorak in the other semis. Minette and Delwich going through the back half, looking for a true second. Good luck to all! |

yes 130 is a very deep weight. This weight will be fun to watch today maybe some upsets happening today at any weight we will see! |

Another year of great competition, lots of heartbreaks,big highs and lows, and lots of Honor and class!!! Some heated debates, different opinions and funny retorts. I'm Very Proud to be a 2AA fan!, thanks for all the fun posting and bantering lets just keep it going People who are already counting SW out are fools!!! I wish them and all 2AA wrestlers the best at the X !! WE ALL KNOW you'll give it your all and do your best, no one can ask for more.. SECTION 2AA our home sweet home.... |

I would just like to extended my Congratulations to the team from Scott West on winning our section! Go knock of Simely now boys! I would also like to congratulate all the wrestlers that particapted in section 2AA this year. You boys are real class acts and good role models. 2AA's best chances 103: Clobes has a good shot at the semis and placing top 6 if not higher 112: Fleming is a defending champion 119: Friederich finished second here a year ago...Zilverberg is on a tear 125: Same with Siegle....putting together a great year 130: Hansen got a good draw and Dvorak is one tough cookie 135: Smith is on a roll and if he can get by the first two rounds looks like a placer 140: Jenson and Hessing are wildcards 145: Kivel and Madson....1 and 2....rematch in championship? Madson has to get past the kid from Albany first and then Barnes from Simley 152: Poikonen can compete with the best - Manderscheid could win some in wrestlebacks if he loses to Schuler 160: 2AA had to be up there with 6AA for toughest 160 brackets 171: Never know 189: Krocak should place at least 215: Brinkman and Broll are a solid 1-2 285: Zabel and Nelson could surprise a few |

119 AA Could be the toughest bracket at the X, its going to be a real battle. Good luck Nate you go take it and remember be BRUTAL!!!!! In a bracket that tough some down right mean can't hurt. |

Looks like 2AA will send 3 wrestlers to be big dance tomorrow... Drew Fleming at 112 - Unless he does something bad, he should make it #2. Ryan Madson at 145 - Going against Fynboh (who beat Kivel)...Should be a good match, but I Ryan is wrestling tough and I give him the edge. Dillon Fogarty at 160 - Going against Jordan Campa...On paper Jordan should be the favorite, but Dillon continues to ignore the rankings and beating the competition. There are a fair number of 2AA competitiors that will also be competing for 3rd and 5th place as well. Good luck to all the wrestlers still representing 2AA. Additionally, good luck to Scott West in tomorrow'a team event...As expected, you have shown 2AA is a tough section and you can clearly compete with any of the 2AA teams there this week. |
