As a guy who is a few years removed from this section, who are the guys we should be watching this year? heck we don't even need weights at this time. Guys I know of off the top of my head, Hansen from Hutch (seems like he's been around forever, lol), Lil Frederich from MLLC, Goldberg, Seigle, krolls from SW, Parriot from New Prague. I know there's a bunch of other's, refresh me. |

MLLC should have a mostly full line-up, more then likely a couple empty spots they are young but have a lot of underclassmen that wrestled varsity last year that have more experience. Thats about all i know, Lil Friederich and Zack Rutt are there obvious studs and i think theres a couple kids that will be better then people expect, guess we'll just have to wait and see! Thats about all i know |

saw brownlee from MLLC was at preseason nationals. Looked as if he held his own down there he could be up there with Rutt and Friederich's in scoring for the team. |

That maybe but when the brackets first came out from pre-season nationals it said he was from MLLC. Also just because he trains with NP doesn't mean he is gonna wrestle there. Thats like saying Rutt only practices in MLLC since he attends that school. The season according to the state high school league hasn't started. so it's safe to say he is going there just to get a work out and get ready for the season. I think he will be a force at 103 this year. At 103 I see only three kids returning to this weight: Clobes, Anderberg, and Brownlee. Might be missing a few newcomers. |

so what does MLLC line up look like who is at what weight or around what weight. and i don't think you will see clobes at 103 i have seen him and he looks like he is around the 130 to 135 mark. |

I think theres some kids on MLLC that might suprise a few people this year, there young and rebuilding I would say another year or two and they be one of the better teams in the section again |

Section 2AA two time state champion Drew Fleming who is a senior at Mayer Lutheran High School will make his college verbal commitment on Tuesday November 10th during the Watertown/Mayer winter sports meeting. |

Yes. If you go to the link in my sig (you'll probably have to cop and paste it) there should be a listing of past shows (only 1 real show so far). Normally it takes less than an hour for the show to be added as a download/playback. |

Well, we hope to get more callers, possibly make the show an hour in the future. It may take us a while to work out the sound issues since I'm running the controls and have never done radio or ran radio controls before. We had one glitch this episode with me clicking the wrong button and muting myself! :unsure: The idea each week will be to cover a section or two and another wrestling related topic. During the season we will probably have some segements about notable matches/duals/results. I'd also like to run a second show during the season on thursdays and have callers call in live dual updates from their cellphones. Maybe have a section finals show a do a similar thing. If things continue to go well, I hope to get a media credentials or access to media row and do a 4 hour live show (or two 2 hour shows) each day from the State tournament. Maybe cover the team portion each day or just do updates twice a day. Lots of ideas, just have to see how it shakes out. I'm glad you like the show so far. B) |
