Drew could possibly be announcing his commitment tonight on our radio show.

There are some lose ends they need to tie up before the announcement, if they get them done tonight he'll announce it on the show tonight around 10pm.

Hutchinson should be competitive again:

103- Chris Retterath
112- Nick Clobes 29-13
119- Lucas Ferrian 13-23
125- Bobby Rasmussen 9-12
130- Jackson Hallahan 13-13
135- Ethan Smith
140- Ryan Madson
145- Jordan Hanson 23-15
152- Cody Manderscheid 30-7
160- Mike Schlueter 9-17
171- Kyle White 12-22
189- Mason Anderson 11-20
215- Dylan Robinson
285- Wes Corrigen 1-19

most of the upper weight were 9-10th graders last year so I think we'll see better results out of them this year. Clobes,Smith, Madson, Handson, and Manderscheid should all be in the mix for the top 2 @ their weights depending on what weights they end up at.

I don't see them winning the section but they should be competitive.
ok as i look at this i see 3 wrestlers with a winning record....doesn't look to good if you ask me

Will you please give it a rest. I would suggest to show up at the first practice on the 23rd at whatever school it is at, scout it out and post your line up for MLLC. We will all be looking forward to your post next Tuesday.

No talk from New Prague........what's the early line up?
Look for Trevor Westerlund to make a splash in this section at 103 for New Prague. Packed on alot of good weight and was aa at Fargo. Go Trojans!!!

Its very hard to see that happening. To many teams have either lost to many kids i.e. Delano and Waconia. Hutch and N.P. are going to be tough but I don't see them getting it done. I could be wrong but unless injury's hit S.W. or some other team has secret weapons. I think S.W. takes it again....

How about the individuals side of the section, who gets to the X...

Now i'm just guessing, but if i'm not mistaken didn't New Prague and Hutcth have fairly young teams from last year? It also must be somewhat of a blow for Scott West losing a state quailifer in Goldberg. They do have a well rounded team, but maybe someone before years end, might matchup with them.

There is no way anyone from this section is gonna catch them by years end. SW is a solid program and I am sure they will fill the hole. Are they saddend by the loss of a good wrestler, yes they are. Are they gonna lose sleep over it, no they won't. At this point I am sure they have moved on and know exactly who they want to take his spot and that ind will surely do fine.

I don't think it will be much of a loss for Sections - but for any type of state placings - it definitely will hurt this year. The loss of (5-6) quality seniors, and now Goldberg. What they return are respectable - but don't know if it will be enough to get it done at state

1 section champ
2 section runner-ups
2 section 3rd place finishers
1 section 5th place finish

A lot left to fill to be competitive at the State Level, do not know of the status of the recruits that came from LS - that would fill 1 more spot.

Yet year after year S.W. seems to be able to reload. I think thats because of the level of dedication in their programs (youth, jr high, and HS). I also believe the development at all levels of the kids in said programs. The kids coming up know their expected to be able to fill holes.Go out wrestle their best and do what it takes for the team to win. I see them placing at state and having a shot at #1

I tend to agree with you 100% from what i have seen and heard the mentality of the program is that every year we are gonna be there in the end. Also it also seems that the program is never satisfied they always want more and to be better. In section they will be fine and come state I think they will be fine as well maybe not on foley or simleys level but will be right there with rest. Don't froget that 9th grade state team last year was very talented so when seniors graduate there is always underclass men ready to fill there spot.

I do agree with that - they do seem to reload - between a good group of kids coming up to fill some holes - and transfers to fill the rest - they always come up strong

Hutch was not that young last year, we have at least 9 seniors this year that have finally spread out. Next year they will be young.
