Yet year after year S.W. seems to be able to reload. I think thats because of the level of dedication in their programs (youth, jr high, and HS). I also believe the development at all levels of the kids in said programs. The kids coming up know their expected to be able to fill holes.Go out wrestle their best and do what it takes for the team to win. I see them placing at state and having a shot at #1
I tend to agree with you 100% from what i have seen and heard the mentality of the program is that every year we are gonna be there in the end. Also it also seems that the program is never satisfied they always want more and to be better. In section they will be fine and come state I think they will be fine as well maybe not on foley or simleys level but will be right there with rest. Don't froget that 9th grade state team last year was very talented so when seniors graduate there is always underclass men ready to fill there spot.
I do agree with that - they do seem to reload - between a good group of kids coming up to fill some holes - and transfers to fill the rest - they always come up strong
Can someone name the tranfers? I think Waterville got the best end of this deal....and this year they combine with Janesville too.

SW will be led by six very tough wrestlers to beat, in Betchwars, Zilverberg, Siegle, Dvorak, Kroells and Hentges. Heard Pesch transfered in from nearby, so that could be seven tough nuts to crack

WMML is the only other team in the section this year with similar firepower with six of thier own, in Elsenpeter, Fleming, Standick, White, Pokiman and Neaton.

Both SW and WMML has some holes in thier line ups to be filled and the team that does this best will come out on top.

NP has several young wrestlers comming up, but I'm not sure how well they will match up with either WMML or SW.

NU could surprise some people this year.

Actually this coop is there second year. They ended up moving classes this year due to realignment. They participated in section 2A last year. Now they are in 1AA.

Scott West is solid down low.

103- Zilverberg
112- Betchwars
119- Fogarty
125- Zilverberg
130- Siegle

I dont see Goldberg cracking this lineup unless he was weighing in at 135.

Now i'm just guessing, but if i'm not mistaken didn't New Prague and Hutcth have fairly young teams from last year? It also must be somewhat of a blow for Scott West losing a state quailifer in Goldberg. They do have a well rounded team, but maybe someone before years end, might matchup with them.
Hutch was not that young last year, we have at least 9 seniors this year that have finally spread out. Next year they will be young.
So this should their year

Are Zilverberg and Siegle that light? I was putting them at 130 and 135. Goldberg would have fit in nicely at 125. They are solid down low and up top.

Over the weekend NP wrestled St. Peter. Either NP is over rated or St. Peter is underrated. I would have put NP ahead of St. Peter in the section...shows what I know :)

It's not going to be a contest as you all know, but from a MLLC prospective, the question I have is; Friederich vs Zilverberg or Siegle? Will Brownlee meet Betchwars or Lil Zilverberg? Who will Rutt meet up with (I'm guessing a non issue)? Any thoughts?

If should be great match know matter what, if Zach faces either Jake or Tyler, all 3 are very good wrestler's. Saw Jake wrestle Ben Morgan on the net, good match.

Siegle took Friederich last year at sections 12-0. Should be a non issue this year. But will they meet?

The season is still young but a few teams looking good so far SW,Hutch, W-M/ML. The question is, is level of competition at this point down. Or is it just to early to know the answer to that question. Its just a ? so don't anyone get mad I'm just wondering!
