Thanks for the help!!!lets keep it up we need more though.

As for New Ulm almost beating Scottwest was SW wrestling everyone? and at weight?
That is not a cut on New Ulm its just a question. I'm sure they have a good team....

But, we all know almost is for horse shoes and hand grenades....
Almost is still closer than anyone in this section has gotten in a long time. 3 points.
If Schmidt goes to Hvy. instead, does he win and they win the dual?

SW had JV in at 119, but Fogarty was at 125 still and Siegle didn't wrestle.
NU was missing Cihak and Brinkman, not sure who else, they had a bunch out early.

Zilverberg was 125 at The Clash.

That is close alright, do you think we put them at #2,#3, or #4 and with Tyler Z. at 125 does that change how close SW vs N.U.

I guess just top 4. They've gotten closer than anyone else.
Funny how teams match up so different. SW beat Hutch good, NU came close to beating SW, Hutch beat NU pretty good, not that any of that will happen like that again though.
Hoffman beat Fogarty if they both go 119, they still meet again. If Hoffman stays up Zilverberg wins I think.
So with that you might want to add Hoffman in at 119 for individuals. Also maybe Braunshausen at 119?

I saw Braunshausen wrestle 135 against Trebesch at G-SL, but this past weekend he was at 125. He's gotten so tall I think 119 might be out of question. But who really knows what these kids can do themselves to lose weight?

Good point by all... after S.C. Apollo pounded WT-M/ML last week they may be #4. We have SW on Friday we'll know a lot after that.

I also think Braunshausen may have grown to much for 119.
I don't know anything about Hoffman but sounds like he gonna be in the mix.

The intials behind Fletcher at 119 should be ME not MW, also Matt Schononberg (sp) for ME at 215 might be a sleeper.

You will not see Stadnick at 140! His plan is to wrestle at his natural weight. It worked out OK for the x-mas tourny so why change it now.

As for putting Delano a head of Hutch I'll need a little back up on why?

Good to see Stephen Delwiche in the box score for GSL/LP last night. He went 2-0 with a pin and a major decision Thursday. Wrestled at 140

i see stradnick is ranked at 140, so does he cut the three pound and try and make it to state that way or does he stay up at 145 and try and better jenson or hessing which i am not sure he can but then you have delwiche at 140 too so maybe its a shot for him .. and how many people did delano lose last year two, and they bet hutch when it counted at the team sec.

Yes, Joey is ranked at 140, but hasn't wrestled there and does not intend to. He is a kid so he could change his mind, ya see he has this growth spurt every Febuary and hates cutting( Not that anyone likes it). He has beat 3 AAA ranked wrestlers #4 Z.Rohr,#2 Lillie, and B. Dunly of wayzata who at the time was ranked #9. He also Beat at the time ranked #4 A. Jensen early this year so bettering Jensen or Hessing is not out of the question. At 140 He lost a very close match to Hansen at sections last year and beat Delwitch. So it would seem that maybe its a shot for any of these wrestlers. I think they all have a tough path to state. Also who knows who may come out of the woodwork to compete.

As for Delano, they lost alot last year and no one that I know really knows for sure about Sowers.

Delano lost 8 seniors after last season.
Seck
Brasket
Roth
Tisch
Bohler
Dahl
Copnhaver
Nelson
and from the local scuttlebutt info Sowers is done.
Thats a lot of reloading for any team. I know they probably have some good wrestlers behind those boys. We'll have to see I think if I were to have to bet I'd go with Hutch.

Still a few key duals to be wrestled, but what are people's top four seeds right now? I think this year it will be tougher to seed the section.

1. Scott West
2. Hutchinson
3. Watertown-Mayer/Mayer Lutheran
4. New Prague (still has a dual with Hutch in Feb.)

Just for fun w/o looking at it too much
5. New Ulm 6. Delano 7. Waconia
8. St. Peter 9. GSL/LP 10. MLLC 11. Mank. East

Well, he wrestled 135 yesterday. I haven't looked at the results from Farmington yet, but this was the first week he was down.

Looking at the rankings, I'd take my shot at 140. That's just me. I believe Joey Stadnick from WMML might be at 140 by the end of the year too. Hessing and Jenson at 145 would be tough to beat (not impossible, but tough).

35 pounds
1. Ryan Swenson, Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley (3), 11
2. Tommy Glenn, Simley (4), 12
3. Ryan Arne, Orono (5), 12
4. Kyle LeDuc, Thief River Falls/Goodridge (8), 12
5. Seth Saftner, Mora (7), 12

140 pounds
1. Andrew Youngblom, Mora (7), 12
2. Dan Dick, Simley (4), 11
3. Jordan Hansen, Hutchinson (2), 12
4. Cody Dillinger, Plainview-Elgin-Millville (1), 12
5. Shawn Hattlestad, New London-Spicer (6), 11

I think Hansen is doing what the team needs him to do and go where he is need to wrestle, but at the same time i think he is feeling out the water at 135 to see what is the best for him and i thought that Joey was not coming down he is staying up at 145 i was told be be jenson, and Arne is been at 140 all year and if he can even make 135 would be a very hard cut for him i have seen him three or four times and he would be a very big 135,

Joey is staying were he's at! I was just wondering? Hansen Looked a little off this weekend probably from the cut and not being used to that weight yet. Usually he doesn't look so drained after a match, Even though he was clearly dictating the match. That cut may have been a tough one on him.

130 top three
Siegel
Freiderich
?

125 top three
Rydell
Zilverberg
?

I have a couple questions on freiderich from MLLC. From the looks of it he will wrestle some really good kids this friday. He will get to wrestle pasvogel from SE and Schwartz from LSH. What weight do you think he has a better shot at placing in state at 130 or 125? Now seeing that he has been wrestling 130 all season means he only needed to lose 3 more pounds to get to 125. Its just a thought and could he beat Rydell or Zilverberg?

You will not see him at 103 (I know it was a typo). and I think based that he has not weighed in at anything else than 130 you will not see him at 125. Yes, you could see good rematches from earlier in the season.
Friederich has defeated;

12/10/09 Tylor Zilverberg 3-2
1/16/10 Brett Schwartz 4-2
1/23/10 Tyler Pasvogel 3-2

note...neither Schwartz nor Pasvogel are in section 2AA or even in AA for that matter. So, they don't play in the whole "STATE" picture.
As for state, he would have to get through sections first. Don't you think?

Fixed the 103 typo. As for state i know that schwartz and pasvogel are in 4a but i was looking at the big picture since sections are 1 month away. I was trying to compare him to top five in double AA at 130 and 125. Sorry for the confusion. I guess for a simple question i did not word it clearly. :(

WOW, I am sorry, but you made no reference to top 5 in state. And Yes, your English was lacking if that was the direction you were intending.
So, at present, the top 5 ranked for 130 AA are;

1. Jake Short, Simley (4), 9
2. Garret Garness, Kasson-Mantorville (1), 11
3. Alex Peck, Benilde-Saint Margaret's-Mounds Park (5), 12
4. Zach Campbell, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton/Westbrook-Walnut Grove (3), 11
5. Cody Schunk, Wabasso/Red Rock Central (3), 12

Rumor is that Peck is opting up to 125. New ratings coming out on Friday. So here you go, you can start your questions over. I set the stage for you.

But like I stated before, the section 2AA wrestlers, no matter the weight class, have to make it through the competition in Delano on February 26th and 27th first.
