Yes sw does reload and my hat is off to the coaching because you are right there coachs do get the right match ups and there kids wrestle hard and fight till the end and don't give up the pins and the bonues points but i don't thing that we will siegle and hansen unless siegle bumps up to 135 and hansen is down at 135,one thing is for sure all the kids will be fighting hard to win on all sides of the mat.

Yes, the boys will be giving their all. Now its about coaching, Match ups, techniques, and conditioning. We will see who has their wrestlers best prepaired for the up coming battles. Who understands the overall team concepts that make team wrestling about a team of individuals.

Who understands their individuals the best?

i would think that you might see delwiche or celander bounce up to 140 for individuals to make it with hansen down at 135 if that where he is is all the results say he is at 140, but that is team not individuals, and i know he has beat both of them, and if they want to get by and go to state one of them is going to have to make a move, don't see any of them beating him for first.
FYI: Hansen beat Delwiche 1-0 Friday.

Does Hutch have what it takes to beat Scott West? Maybe. I don't think the Panthers are unbeatable like maybe years past. You get past Siegle and there isn't a dominant wrestler until Kroells. No real major holes, but there's no Kivel anymore. That's where Hutchinson is best - 130-171 - in my mind.

Here is how it went the first time (46-19) - 103: Luke Zilverberg (SW) maj Tyler Karl 16-3 ... 112: Luke Betchwars (SW) maj Corey Peterson 14-6 ... 119: Nick Clobes (H) pin Phillip Dvorak 1:36 ... 125: Luke Fogarty (SW) pin Tyler Becker 1:28 ... 130: Tyler Zilverberg (SW) pin Brett Allex 1:54 ... 135: Jake Siegle (SW) maj Bobby Rasmussen 13-0 ... 140: Jordan Hansen (H) pin Patrick Dvorak 4:53 ... 145: Mark Dvorak (SW) maj Josh Mellies 11-1 ... 152: Nick Dvorak (SW) dec Anthony Settergren 8-6 ... 160: Paul Dvorak (SW) dec Mason Anderson 3-2 ... 171: Mike Schlueter (H) dec Zach Dvorak 9-3 ... 189: Kyle White (H) maj Michael Riker 13-1 ... 215: T. Fricke (SW) pin Dalton Benage 1:20 ... Hwt: Travis Hentges (SW) pin Josh Piepmeier 1:24.

Peterson would be at 103 with Clobes wrestling Betchwars at 112 and Chris Schmidt (who just beat Mitchell Hartwig big time Friday) at 119. I think Hutch would trail 13-9 after 130 pounds (if Scott West wrestled the same way). Hansen vs Siegle. Probably. That match could swing things. A win and the Tigers might lead things heading into 189 where they would give up 18 straight points and lose anyways.

I think it would be closer, but my belief is the only team with a chance is WM/ML. Fleming beats a SW stud at 125. Stadnick, Poikonen and White would all be wins and Neaton and Kroells would be awesome. It would come down to other guys in their lineup (Sweeney, Elsenpeter, etc) stepping up and pulling off an upset or two.
Pretty sure Mark Dvorak wasn't in the line-up.
How does anyone really know which Dvorak is which and who is the coach actually putting in? I hear those SW coaches will do anything to get a win.

Does anyone think the Dvorak’s be branded or tagged or tattooed before a dual (like you do with cattle)?

Pat-140
Marty-145
Nick-145
Paul-152
Zach-160

I hope everyone understands that I’m just kidding around here. :D

The Dvorak’s have a great wrestling family and SW is very fortunate to have them.

Yeah, I thought it was surprising that Zilverberg got beat. I bet it was a great match, or atleast the score was close. Did anyone see it?

Another upset:
Mario Arroyo (MLLC) beat Jake Schmidt (NU)

Almost upset:
Max Poikonen (WM) 4-3 win over Jamie Gieseke (NU)

Pat Brinkman was also back at heavyweight last night and Ryan Hoffman wrestled again after being injured for a while - he was at 145 though.

In order for Ryan to wrestle 145 he had to weigh in over 137 last night - does this now not make him eligible for wrestling 125/130/135 for individuals?

I think as long as he has a Doc. note as to why he didn't get his miniums in, he can wrestle any of those weights that he is certified at.

Last nights weigh in should not effect individuals

Is Ryan a stockie about 5' 8'' kid? Cause thats what the kid from N.U. looked like that wrestled against MLLC. and if so he did not wrestle against WT/ML. Word in the stands was that whom ever pulled something in the first match with MLLC.

It really helps W-M/ML Getting the #2 seed. We could possibly see a repeate of two years ago in the finals. If so and thats a IF who would be your pick? W-M/ML has been wrestling pretty well as of late. Do they match up good enough to pull out the win vs SW. Or does Hutch match up well enough to have a chance to pull it off on that side of the bracket. I'm not trying to look over anyone, remember I thought Hutch would get the #2 seed. Also we all know any team can get hot and beat another team. I see SW vs Hutch and Delano vs WM/ML in the semi finals.
Yub-so far your dead on.

Semi's on Sat.
sw should beat hutch
WML vs. Del will be close (33-28 last time, 8 wins for WML)

I actually like the way WML is potentially matching up with SW and if WML gets by Del., I think the finals could be closer this year than it was two years ago and a win is with in WML grasp

LAST CHANCE,
to make your team predictions. WM/ML has as chance to get to the big show that's who I'm pulling for. If they pull it off they will have really have to earn it, As will whom ever wins it. 4 thought teams fighting for the privilege of representing our section.

Good luck and health to all see you there!

Scott West beat Hutch, then Scott West beat WMML. Scott West is heading to state. There were some very good matches tonight, a few went into double OT, Max Poikonen and Paul Dvorak being one of them at 152...Poikonen won. Poikonen barely beat Delano's Chris Gallus also, very close, great to watch match.

SW 38, Hutch 18
WM/ML 39, Delano 25

Panthers were up big something like 38-14 heading into 215 when I exited.

Hutch wrestled very well...it was 20-18 before Kroells pinned a JV kid at 189, Hentges pinned a two-win kid at 215 and a forfeit at 285 due to an illness. The Tigers felt like they could win eight matches - they got six. Hansen lost 4-0 to Siegle at 135 (Jake got a late near-fall as Hansen desperately tried a reverse) and Anderson lost 4-2 at 152 pounds to Paul Dvorak I believe.

Scott West gave up one 3-point near fall in the match with Hutch and did not give up any team bonus pts. Much like last year, SW was sort of flat in the semis but came off flying in the championship.

Lots of close matches....Poikonen beat Gallus 3-1 and Dvorak in OT...Neaton lost to Bragelmann and Kroells...Hessing beat Stadnick....Clobes 2-0 over Betchwars.

I would add Derksen NU at 130 and Sletta NU at 145 as possible top 4's
Why?
I don't have time to do a full analysis of their seasons, but I think they would be comparable to some of the wrestlers Hutchfan listed at those weights
Well have the beat any of the 4 listed? (yes/no)
Have they beat anyone that have beat the 4 listed? (yes/no)
Simple.....if yes, than add them!
There is your analysis for you..... ;)
I think I did add them.....but it was nice of you to explain things so well for me ^o)
