If I remember, Le Sueur was an AA school when Scott West was dismisssed from the MRC. Later, this gave the LS coaching staff a chance to compete with the class A schools left in the conference. As of late, the coaches look like genius's from that decision. Of course, they have very good wrestlers, committed supporters, and Henderson to thank. Good luck to the wrestlers as they represent our conference. |

Thank's for the info I was watching on Flo and it's posted as Rohr vs Dvorik. But I listened and they announce Pesch. Edited by yub, Feb 6 2011, 03:49 AM.

Pesch did a good job agains a beast. Rohr had pinned Dvorak earlier in the year. Pesch is stronger in the upper body and harder to pin. Good call by the coaches. |

Who cares about team sections. You will have more participation if you discuss Individual sections don't you think? What weight class will be the best to watch? |

I say watch Rutt 171 and Brownlee 125 Freidrich 135 if he gets over the match with Gabe. The wrestles at almost all the weights in 2AA will be matches that everyone will be on the edge of their seats.I think this is going to be one of the best individual section tournys we will see .The best part is there are alot of younger kids that will get to return next year to do it all over again. Every kid win or lose can look up at the crowd when they are done wrestling and use Russel Crows line from The Gladiator"Are you not entertained !"Because we will be. |

You may be right 3/4, the team part of the section seems to be pretty much decided. The only thing to find out is if WM/ML, Hutch, or NP comes in second. As for the Individuals there seems to be a much greater opportunity for upsets. There are many favorites that one might think will get to the X for sure. Yet we all know in wrestling nothing except Scottwest taking the team title is sure.....

You might want to throw little Zilverberg in at 112. He's been tough all year. I think Siegle may be the odd man out at individual sections for Scott West. |

Thanks. Haven't seen full result-by-result from that match. Will edit those. !!!!! - are you talking about Chris Schmidt from Hutch/BLHS? Shoulder injury. It happened I believe when he got pinned late against Ann/ML. He had a sling on pre-match against WM/ML, but had it off during the match. I think he'll be back for sections (hopefully). |

Does anyone know if Waconia's Sam Braunshausen is going to be back this year? I know there was some concern about his shoulder injury being season ending. |

I know Betchwars and Ellsinpeter want to and probably will go 103 and correct me if I'm wrong but I think their match on Jan 27th was wrestled at 112. May or may not be a big deal but some kids wrestle better or worse when they are up or down a weight. |

I believe betchwars weighed in at 103 but Elsenpeter weighed in at 112. The match was wanted so Betchwars wrestled up. |

Also, Hutch could get a few more in the middle. Should be fun! |

New Prague hasn't reported 2/3 of their duals....so here's my best stab (had to go back to 1/21 to find names): 103: Westerlund dec Karl NP 3-0 112: Parriot maj Kostelecky NP 7-0 119: Drew maj Berg NP 7-4 125: Pundsack dec Reinart 7-7 130: Madson/Parriot toss-up 135: Petersen dec Nelson H 10-7 (might be a forfeit here) 140: Cole dec Rasmussen 10-10 145: G. Jordahl pin Zeimet H 16-10 152: Settergren maj Ritter H 20-10 160: Mueller dec Mellies H 20-13 171: Sirek pin Misch H 20-19 189: White pin Preston H 26-19 215: Tuma dec Benage H 26-22 285: Piepmeier dec Svoboda H 29-22 (32-22 with Madson dec, 29-25 with Parriot dec) Probably be a few more pins...hard to tell what the Trojans can do when they SHOW NOTHING! |

Good breakdown. You obviously know NP better. I'll take Piepmeier over Svoboda at heavyweight and Jordahl at 145 should get a pin. Insert Corey Petersen at 135 for Chris Schmidt. I think we'll see Madson and Parriott. I also wonder how close Hutch/BLHS is to wrestling Kyle White at 171 and having eighth-grader Gregor Fraser (4-1, fifth place at 9th State) at 189. The Preston kid seems to be a favorable matchup. |

So would the opposing teams also be at fault when scores are not entered? Is it the responsibility of the home team? the winning team? or do they not have anything set for this? Is it just being polite to post results. I too get frusturated when I cannot see the individual results of duals! With that being said, I have a few POTENTIAL changes (just for fun!) NP could get 6 at 103 and 112 119, 125, and 130 should all be good matches if they match up the way you have them. 130 will be by far the most anticipated match of the night. Without Schmidt, NP could get 6 at 135 Hutch could get 6 at 140 and 145 152...we agree:) 160....NP could get bonus points 171....Sirek is out for the year...so i've been told. I think Giles is better though. 189...depends what happens with White at 171 and 189....good chance for splitting pins/wins Giles and White would be a better match to watch and would give a better idea for individual sections 215...NP could get 6 HWT...i agree Piepmeier could win...he has shown great improvement and Svoboda does not look like he is doing as well. Could be another toss-up and even more exciting.............the dual decider!!!! Are you going to the dual tonight Hutchfan13?? If so, do you have the capability of posting updates?!?! That would be great if someone could. |

I won't be. Staying in town for a couple of local events. Otherwise I would bring my laptop and wireless card. Lots of toss-ups and could gets in this match - that's why it should be a good one. I'm interested to see if Cole and Petersen match up at 135. Petersen was a section placer last year and with four matches under his belt now, he should be more prepared than he was 10 days ago against Reinart from WM/ML. Haven't seen much from Cole this season, but what I have seen, he's looking like a section contender. As far as reporting, I just think it comes down to individual team's preference. In the past, Hutch rarely had updates on the Guillotine unless the other team posted them. Now, for the most part, they are updating TrackWrestling after every match. Sure, it puts your lineup out there, but it sure helps media do their job. Here is how I see the seedings shaking out Sunday....the only debate is MLLC and Waconia for six and seven. They didn't wrestle each other. 1. SW 2. WMML 3. Hutch or NP 4. Hutch or NP 5. St. Peter 6. Waconia 7. MLLC 8. G-SL/LP 9. Delano 10. East 11. New Ulm |

Here I thought I was going to break it :) Hutch trailed 15-0 through four matches but won at 130, 140, 145, 152, 171, 189 and 285. Mellies at 71 and Settergren at 52 trailed in matches, but pulled through for the Tigers. Should lock up the third seed for Hutch/BLHS. |

When is the team seeding meedting? At first I didn't like the two day sections but it gives 4 teams another home meet. But an extra weigh-in isn't good. |
