189
Taylor Neaton, WM/ML (27-4)
Zach Dvorak, Scott West (27-9)
Max Bullock, Waconia (20-11)
There isn't a fourth wrestler worthy

??????? Nate Preston from NP pinned Zach Dvorak..........I would say that may be worthy of being mentioned as 4th.
Thanks for the help. Like I've said, been tough to find New Prague stuff this season so hard to know what a lot of the unprovens (non-Parriots and Westerlund) are doing.

As for heavyweight, talked with our big guy and he's very excited for the opportunity. It will come down to whoever wrestles the best over two days. I think Jon Lucas is the favorite, but will he wear down against the bigger boys? Gabler is a solid sophomore that may be the best 285er in the section. Piepmeier has been on a roll - he's beaten almost everybody except for the two mentioned (that was the first weekend of the year and he's a different wrestler now).

Dvorak's are not from Belle Plaine. From Holy Family Academy of Belle Plaine. Gabe Fogarty is also from Jordan.

Holy Family Academy is part of Belle Plaine, they participate in every sport with Belle Plaine, not just wrestling. Not including them would be like not including junior high wrestlers because they don't go to class in the same building.

Andrew Fogarty 8th gr ( 21-12) wrestled a weight up to take on Mitchell Hartwig 10th gr. ( 28-8). Hartwig won a 11-2(?) major.

I must say Waconia with a young team wrestled very tuff last night. Also WM/ML will have to do the same this Saturday if they want to get in the finals.

Just verified that Kchk Radio-1350 AM, Krds-95.5 FM will be covering today's matches. I forgot to ask, but I believe it will be the 1350 AM station.

So will KDUZ 1260 AM out of Hutch

I had a weekend trip planned to Marshall, but with the snow coming, that's out and a trip to New Prague is in. Look for video and match results at myprepsplus.mn later today

NP won at both 189 and 215. At 189 I think SW wrestled DeWeese and I didn't catch NP's wrestler. At 215 I believe Tuma beat Lucas 4 to 3.
