It is not combined for enrollment. Only the highest schools enrollment is taken, or both of them are split in half. |

They return 5 state placers and one more qualifier. Plus Zach Siegle. I dont think anyone challenges them next year. Maybe the year after though. |

Sorry Poppa, but you are wrong. The MSHSL used to use some type of percentage formula, but they switched about six or eight years ago to using total enrollment of all schools in a cooperative program. If I remember right, it was Blue Earth and St. James that spearheaded it because they wanted to drop to Class A to get away from some of the wrestling coops they were forced to compete with in Class AA, particularly a certain Section 2AA power that shall remain nameless. |

St. Peter seems to always have a up and coming program. They have always had great youth numbers and talent but they seem to have a problem with kids making the transition from elementary to middle school. |

Yes, the big transition. It's a hard age to keep motivated with all the other things like school, girls, buddies, internet, etc. Plus with kids becoming more 1 sport focused, especially if they are not the best, they usually drop 1 or 2. Which blows because wrestling more times than not is the casualty since it's not the most glamourous sport. |

Nope....they had no luck getting guys from Chaska this off season, so they moved on to get Kass from New Prague and Delaney from Shakopee!! |

Benilde can win the section....Benilde can win the section.......Time out, the state high school league would have to cut the weight classes down to about 8 for this to happen.lol No, seriously. Benilde has some tough kids no doubt. But they have some big time holes...Sorry just being honest. |
