Anyone willing to give team line-ups yet? I know NP has some good returning wrestlers who just missed the state tournament last year.....berg, two parriotts, cole, and preston. Also hearing the rumor that westerlund is going to A.L.
Aint a rumor. Kass also left. I still believe they will be strong this year, and they only have one senior (Cole) graduating after this upcoming season. 2012/13 season they will only be better.

I think you can take the first 3 at 120 and move them all up a weight - and didn't Lowe Graduate last year?

It will truly be interesting to see where these kids start and end this year. Some of them seemed to be cutting alot of weight and others seemed like they were going to grow into their body's finally. Nice start, but hopefully a few people chime in as we go on what weight they are going.

Wow, whoever gets certified for 120 better hop on that. Ha the weight changes really messed up this section especially if the kids are around the weights people are guessing they're at. One of the toughest AA individual sections for sure.

With the new weights and a new name soon; anyone care to throw out a potential line-up for the Tri-City Titans? Plus, I heard that they may have a different head coach? Just a rumor I heard.

I have no idea, but it would seem that they wouldn't do anything to change the school district in the middle of a school year.

Yes.
And other sports are combining other than wrestling this year.

There also is a kid around 180 ( i think a 10th grader) that is going to be new at NP. I dont know how good he is but maybe he'll crack the line up.
Other than that, yeah i think that looks about right. Reinartx may be at 32, who knows because I'm sure 152 is a big step up for him. Its 32 or 52 im afraid!

Any updates on who is wrestling where in the section after JJ? Anyone from 2AA going to be at Pre-Season nationals this upcoming weekend?

Was not a huge number of 2AA guys at JJ. Will Flynn be Scott West's 106 all year or will Siegle be able to get down there?

Okay potential New Prague lineup, anyone else got any guesses for their teams potential lineups? Scott West is the returning champs, who is their biggest competition for the title.

I would say Hutch and New Prague are in the running. I dont know if St. Peter lost many guys or who came up.
I wonder if Tri city or (MLLC) gained anyone? They could be tough.
Other than that I dont know much about the others teams line-ups.

Any other possible line-ups except New Prague ?

Just a note - I'm told the team will remain the Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center/Cleveland Coyotes for this year. Next year, they will be the Tri-City United Titans and Cleveland will not be part of the mix (not sure they are even part of it this year, to tell you the truth. This winter the schools will combine for girls basketball under the Tri-City name, but will have separate boys teams. This spring, all sports will be combined under the Tri-City name, and the new school district will officially come into existence on July 1.

To my knowledge, Cleveland has not produced a wrestler in many years. So no, wrestling has not lost another school.

My guess is that Cleveland will either not offer wrestling, or perhaps pair with Le Sueur-Henderson or St Peter. St. Peter would be more likely, because I believe a LSH/Cleveland team would get bumped up to AA.
