Section 2AA seems to always have atleast one pair of section finalists who meet in the state finals(Exa. Selly and Kivel or LeVasseur and Friedrich last year) does this section have potential to do this at any wieghts this year? If so which ones and with what wrestlers?

Which they will both will compete for a title. as for rydell he will not make 103 thats a guarentee. his trainer is my brother-inlaw and i heard he is weighing bout 125. and not much to cut. looking to start year at 119

Like a State Title or Section Title? Because theres a pretty big difference between them and 30 wins with St Peters schedule is a lot different than 30 wins in some of the other teams in the section's schedule. Hopefully he will compete for a state title and the weight room did help him so I can cheer for him as a section 2aa representative at the excel this year.

30 wins right. I didn't see him at the xmas tourny, clash, or rumble on the red. I also believe that other wrestlers have worked out all summer in the weight room and mat, so I don't think that is an edge.

gonna be another exciting season in section 2AA. each team lost some guys and some studs coming back. as for team i think MLLC will be out of the race (may probe me wrong cuz season hasnt started yet, they do have good wrestlers i just think a few to many holes will cost them some meets), so i believe repeat finals from last year. Watertown and Scott West..

I don't think MLLC has any more holes than the others you mentioned.

how do you see hentges beating zable he couldn't even beat kratzke from east. if my memory serves me right zable beat him. as for his competion last year i do believe he wrestled socher last year lost by a point and wrestled the hwt from gfw and beat him. that hwt went to state last year.

So Zable had two tough matches all of last year and won one of them? I'm not saying that Scott West's Hentges will beat him but I know Scott West wrestled in the christmas tourny, clash, and rumble which obviously gave Hentges more than two tough matches and I believe they are wrestling in these tournaments again this year which would gain him more experience. It's too bad that Zable doesnt get to wrestle in these types of tournaments to gain experience but 30 wins is still a pretty good wrestler. What other heavyweights will challenge for the top 2 in Section 2AA this year?

zable wrestled good competition all year considering its hard to find good hwt's he wresstled socher twice, krocak twice, plath from gfw, fischer from wem, gardner from SE who beat hentges, lee from BEA won one lost one, and kratzke from east. need i say anymore about the schedual he wrestled. lets see socher state place winner, krocak state ent, lee state ent, plath state ent, gardner 3rd in sections behind plath and machentune, kratzke 4th in sections behind zable, krocak, and socher. not much to argue when you look at the results. :D

See I heard Hentges was going to be down at 215? I think you are the one that said that even, maybe not, just thought he was I guess. I know Hentges might have more talent then Zable but I know he struggles with guys the size of Zable. I also think little Kocak from MLLC was going to be at HWT if he sticks with wrestling? Might be wrong with that too?

Not two many people have the size of Zable.

WOW!
That is a strong slap in the face to a potential high school wrestler for the MLLC club. I guess you must have your reasons for that personal attack.

If it is Steve N. he would be a good addition to the team! Saw him wrestle only a couple of times, beat some above average wrestler's. Jared I think your post was alright, till you added the laugh at the end. Nobody knows this kids story, thats why i won't even comment. Hopefully for MLLC's sake they can get this kid to go out, wrestling has many ways of making you mature quickly.

I remember him pinning through the Bezdichek Invitational two years ago - really got the crowd whipped up and iced the 1st place for MLLC.

Oh well I didn't mean anything by it. I just remember 2 years ago Stevie came out of nowhere, not sure if he ever wrestled in his life but he was beating kids he had no buisness beating. I didn't mean to be sarcastic about him winning state, but he would be a big surprise if he did make it out of the section, and a big lift for the MLLC squad.

You have to remember some people were talking about him making it to state two years ago before individual sections.

BTW Great Gamma there was no personal attack there, you must be mad that i wrecked your big surprise or something? Its not that big of a surprise though, people have been talking about him for the past two seasons.

Nothing spoiled or "recked" for me. 3/4 Nelson was the person who mentioned a surprise at heavy. The way you made your statement read as a dis to say the least. Enough said. As far as Mr. Nieves, I will believe it when I see it.

I will pose a question though, you have Matt L., Zach F., Nate F., and Mike Jindra , for lighter weight and Krocak and Nieves ( possibly) heavier weights. How will they fill in from 135-171? Just curious.

If you scroll back to page 3 of this thread you will see my pre-season line-up I guessed at back in August;

103 Matt Lloyd 9,10-26
112 Mason Brownlee 7,
119* Zach Friederich 10, 30-10
125* Nate Friederich 12, 41-5
130* Mike Jindra 11, 29-13
135 Tim Eckland 12, 12-15
140 Nathan Rosier 9,
145 Jared Schloesser 9,
152 Cody Heitner 11,
160 Steven Rosier 12,
171* Zack Rutt 10, 20-9
189* Jeff Miller 12, 21-14
215* Johnny Krocak 12, 17-6
285 Andrew Engle 12, 7-10

I know there will be changes......

List in order of predicted finish and why.

1.) Scott West- Has the most balance between depth and studs returing and always finds a way to reload

2.) Delano - Has an all around solid line up but don't think they will beat Scott West because they don't have a tough enough schedule during the year and their studs aren't as dominant as Scott West's studs.

3.) Watertown-Mayer - Has some studs coming back down below but I dont think have enough depth to beat Delano in the Semis

4.) MLLC - Have similar depth to Watertown-Mayer but I think Watertown-Mayer's studs are better then MLLC's studs
