I think that Griffin Parriott will make it at 113, James Berg at 120, and Miles Hammerlund at 182 but everything else looks good.

who is this Jacob Jewitt at 106 from GSL? I have never heard of him... I think that at 106 other than Flynn its a throw up for the 2nd place spot.. Sweeney and Knutson both got owned by Flynn at final 4 so I think it really could be anyone from Sweeney, Johnson, or Knutson going to state with Flynn.

A lot of tough brackets in our section.. I'm pretty sure that no matter who goes to state at 113 and 120 they will both do really good at state.
It will be a fun night to watch!! I know I'm excited to watch some great matches!!

Jewitt looks smooth and I think is a 10th grader. I didn't see the match, so don't know if it was closer than score suggests, but heard he beat Sweeney 9-0 earlier in the year. I see he lost to Flynn 8-2. Based on those results, he may be the favorite for the 2 spot....

To show the depth of some of these weight classes, I have listed those who have at least 20 wins, and in a few cases, a high win percentage. Some of the top two are pretty clear but in several classes there will be a real battle for that 2nd spot. There will be a bunch of very good wrestlers at that 120 and 138 sitting home. It would not surprise me if some shift to 126. I was surprised how shallow 152, 220 and 285 are for wrestlers with more than 50% wins. (Source - rosters for team sections)

106 1 Flynn, SW (29-6)

Looks like a great list cattle catcher! I really don't see any set weights on a champion (besides heavy). Sure will be a very competitive day come Saturday! I would like to add that at Elsenpeter is going down to 113. That will make 113 one heck of a weight class!

First of all everyone needs to stop quoting, goodness sakes. At 120, Steinbauer will be the 2 seed. He beat Berg and Elsenpeter already,so I can't see them over him. Are you sure Elsenpeter is not going 113?

That is true. My placements are more of indication of "favored" to win. There are only a couple that have really dominated thier opponants with Kroells at the top of that list. I believe he has only given up four points this year. Just unreal. It does show that 2AA should be well represented at the Xcel Center.

You have alot of guys at the wrong weight, and I thought this was a list of at least 20 wins? (Which isn't that hard to do when you wrestle 36 matches. An average wrestler wins 18)

My guess is Hammerlund will be at 170. He has 4 losses on the year, two of them to Clouse. Got stuck by him in team sections. Bullock and Clouse should be the 2-3 seeds at 182. And yes, Jewett did beat Sweeney 9-0.

Heck Yeah, 2AA will be solid at literally every weight.
At the beginning of this year I wasn't too sure of some of the weights, but a lot of wrestlers have really came around and made this one of the top sections in AA

G. Parriott, NP (33-3)
Siegle, SW (23-7)

138
Hartwig, GSLLP (32-3)
A. Fogarty, SW (24-11)

145
G. Fogarty, SW (32-3)
M. Parriott, NP (29-7)

152
Pesch, SW (23-9)
Settergren, Hutch

160

Looks like a good list. Very good.

At 120 are you thinking Elsenpeter will be there? I thought he was going 113, but If he goes 120, I think he will be 2nd. 113 is harder IMO for him to make it.
