Here is a list of the NP JV wrestlers on varsity against BEA
113- Rutt
126- Bornholt
145- Kwam
195- Gulickson

I believe they also had quite a few kids wrestling up weights from what they were at during the X-mas tourney.

Along with Alek Nelson, bumping Knutson up to 120, and hopefully Giles will be returning shortly. Would be nice to see the full squad come the rumble.

Sense you seem to be a New Prague native, do you have any idea what the full squad will end up looking like?

Looks like the only kid not on christmas tournament roster was reinhardt. Are the other guys you talked about hurt? Every team has kids that are probably considered jv wrestlers that have to be plugged in to help the team occasionally or wrestle up for team. I am kind of surprised that you said you had a bunch that were held out because of match count issues, but Knutson, Parriot, Berg, Parriot, Heinz, and Preston all wrestled. You would think that match count issues would mostly affect kids that go deep in tournaments.

They were without their regular 126, 145, 195 and the other kids you mentioned all wrestled up for some reason. I don't know if they are hurt, but they were not at full strength, as you could see. That's all I know.
Logan Giles will be back after Christmas too so that is an add to the team they have been NEEDING.
They will need to really pick it up and get together if they want to be a contender for the section championship this year. That is for certain.

You have to consider match count currently and match count for kids going forward - how many tournaments and duals will some of these kids be wrestling in the future. Also Reinhardt did not wrestle against Blue Earth.

I beleive they had these kids sit out in earlier matches and probaly will be sitting out in future matches also. You oviously cant sit them all out in the same matches. There will be a couple of matches in the near future that will either be really close or they will loose becasue of match counts. Its hard to say without looking a little more into it but just listing acouple of events a wrestler could have 29 matches, so only 7 matches to wrestle rest of season?

New Prague duals- 5 matches
Christmas Tourney- 3-9 matches
ROR- 3-10 matches
Conference matches- 5 matches

The entire line bumped up from 106 to 160...there was no diabolical scheme. Nice try though.

STMA is a beast this year. There will be some good close matches, but they have so much fire power this year, its going to be tough for anyone in MN who goes against them.

I assume they will wrestle up again from 106-160, but I don't know for sure, so I can't even begin to make predictions.

I would concur that STMA may be favored but SW will wrestle from the startingt to ending whistle and take advantage of any opportunity presented, no matter how small.

Not trying to imply anything other than why wouldn't Zilverberg have wrestled Brownlee.

#3 vs #4, makes for a good section bracket.

Zilverberg will be at 138 for individuals. But for duels he will be at 145 most of the time.
