I have to root for the underdog though. It will be interesting to see what strategy the coaches will be using since they have just recently seen the match ups twice between Siegle/Parriott, once with Zilverberg/Reienartz, and kids will be wrestling at different wieghts then from the tournaments. I notice that Dahlke was not in Fargo. If Derek is out for this meet it will be advantageous for New Prague. New Prague will need to keep things close in the lower weights for it to go thier way. Still think it will be close! We'll know more by seeing who all wrestled, and where for Scott West after their match on Thursday. I'm excited for this one. #4 vs #5, it cant get much better :)

It looks like they are tring to build his confidence a little right now in easy matches, but at 6'5" 280lbs he will be a beast in the next couple of years. Nothing against McDonnell, but it doesn't look like the coaches have to much faith in him!

If a wrestler is that big, I don't think he should have any issues with confidence. Maybe he just cant crack the line-up? But it seems like you are pretty knowledgeable and have the inside scoop on things. So I'll take your word for it :)

Who has brought in new coaches? Who has changed their training technique's? Who has change from weight cutting to modern weight management technique's Who has found a positive way to motivate? And just who is still going threw the motions? while blowing smoke out their, well you know what I mean! Just some questions That's good, please think that everyone else is just sitting around doing nothing. Scott West's days of ruling Section 2AA is coming to an end. Every year they will be challenged by one or more of the other schools in the section. I love that you were wrong! Such arrogance. I'm not saying Scott West will not will the section, but teams are getting closer.
