This should be the best heavyweight fight in awhile. What do people think?

Fedor has the edge in Striking, Takedowns, and Submissions. I don't see a good outlook for big Timmy. However, this is mma and anything can happen.

It has been so long since Fedor has faced anyone worth speaking about...I think Tim will pull of the upset due to Fedor having so much ring rust...then get destroyed in the rematch.

Bad music in the highlight, but it's a good, short look at Fedor.

I hate Dana, but free fights with Anderson Silva and ex-college wrestler Frank Edgar might be better than this PPV.

Possibly.
i am failing to watch Affliction on the sole base that i don't have the cash to buy it haha.
Anderson Silva should win handedly right?
and Edgar is fighting... Franca. That is going to be a good fight.
JT $ vs. CB Dollaway shall be decent as well.
I wish i was supporting small time MMA with Affliction, and sticking it to Dana, but it just isnt in the cards...

I always think he'll win handily. He's awesome. But he is moving up to 205 and the other guy is moving down from heavyweight.

Agreed!

I didn't sit through TUF, so I don't much care.

JT $ and CB will be a battle, but i see CB submitting him.
TUF has gotten so stupid as of late, i dont know if i'll watch next season.
Big Nog and Mir coaching?
EDIT: Wait, can Nog even speak english?
Dana putting this free card on teh same weekend as Affliction really pisses me off.
A start-up org w/ financial backing from Donald Trump, and of course, as always, he has to try and squash it until he monopolizes and owns all of MMA.
I'm apart of the I Hate Dana Fanclub, if there is one ha.

I guess I am on the other side of the fence....

Take boxing as an example....there are several different affilations, several different champions....who is the best??? You just can't tell...and you probably will until they combine all these affilations into one.

UFC should be the big league...all the other affilations should serve as the feeder programs to the UFC....it would allow the fighters to fight and make a living...you know these guys would be giving their all to get into the big show.

Now, having said that, the fighters should form a UNION that will standardize the payment process and guarentee them a certain amount of money per fight...depending on what type of success they have had in the past. Also, it is important that pension funds are established for the veteran fighters....lets say 30 fights triggering off the athletes ability to collect on this pension.

Introducing these ROGUE affilations does nothing good for the sport...except feeding speculation on who is the best...

Beleive me, the guys from Affliction are looking to pad their wallets as well. They are business men first.

The UFC, until challeneged, is going to be #1.
The only contender vying was WEC, and they own it.
I'm all for feeder programs, but lets not squash them before they start!
And Dana needs to improve his negotiations to get the Premier Figthers like Fedor, into the UFC.
And yes, i understand some of Fedor's stupulations were outrageous, but Dana was as well.
