I will start:  Chaska has 3 kids at fargo.

I think Bisek told me they had something like 5. An impressive number.

Chaska has 3 at Fargo: Pat Smith, RJ Hallman and Danny Eggestahl
5 if you include the 2 who were at Kids Natls in Utah.
Chaska also had 4 kids total on the duals teams.

How many total does AV have here?
STMA?
Anoka?
I am thinking without doing a check, those 3 schools may have the most participation.

I know it was Fargo but I think Dakota Trom won the Schoolboy nationals for Greco and Freestyle and Branden Kingsley won a Schoolboy triple crown. Tom Kelliher was a senior but the rest of them make up half of Valleys line up for next year.

Anyone know how bad Tyler Lehman was injured? I saw that he withdrew.

Ouch, hopefully he'll be ready to go for HS this year. He should be fine since most of MCL tears only take 2-6 weeks to heal up.

Yeah, a lot of times you get a torn meniscus as a result of a torn MCL, so he could have both.

If it's bad enough to need surgery it will take about 8 weeks to get back on the mat, if not then maybe 3-4 weeks.

how many kids are wrestling at FARGO from each HS. ..if there is a coorelation between HS success and the number of kids (from that HS) that participated in Fargo.

I will start: Chaska has 3 kids at fargo.

Looks like JCC had 5 in Cadet Freestyle (and one of them did Greco also). They were all done after the first day though. Rutt did well in Junior Greco.

I see that McCauley 135 and Ness 130 seperated for FS. Hopefully MN brings home 2 champions with that strategic move. And it clears the way for Ness to go for the triple crown...

Well it looks like Dylan took care of business and I have faith he will win that triple crown as well.

I see that Destin has someone that I don't know but he has done outstanding so far in this tournament. The kids he's seeing are the best in the nation and hopefully he comes through, I think he can as well.

MCL would suck but a meniscus he can easily handle. He is a very talented kid and I'm sure his dad will have him on a regiment to recover no matter what happens... It might not be the worst time in the world to have a little down time as things really slow down after Fargo anyhow. Hope it goes well.

Destin won a close one against Rayshawn who absolutlely blew up when he was beat by freedley yesterday.(He was also DQed from Greco) Destin helped him up after tho and Rayshawn kept from making a scene.

Thorn Campa Betts makes three

+ Jake Lillie=4 for STMA

JCC has at least 6 with all styles/ages combined

Valley has at least 7

Similey has at least 6 as well

Hastings has a good amount as well.

Why when parents are paying what they are paying are kids being sent home, and missing seeing the finals, when they are getting beat out? Don't the kids at least deserve the dignity of seeing the finals for some inspiration? Wow, is MNUSA missing the boat on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like some people think the match between Destin McCauley and Kaleb Friedley of Missouri tomorrow will be for 1st and 3rd... I guess some think they are the two best at that weight and the finals will be anti climatic.

Justin Deangelis from Oklahoma won the other pool. The finals will be an excellent match.

Isn't this being discussed on another thread?? I think that MN/USA does a great job with the kids they send to Fargo. I actually don't know how MN/USA can hold a 4 day camp....feed the kids...give them singlets, t'shirts, shorts and a jacket...put them up in a hotel room in fargo...rent vans for what each kid pays. They certainly aren't making any money on the kids. I would think they would be lucky if they break even.
So I say...if you don't like the way they run things.....step up to the plate and become a MN/USA officer and then you can help make these decisions.....

We don't come anywhere close to breaking even on this. We lose money on it. If we were trying to break even on it the cost for each kid would increase significantly.

Thanks to all the they do do for the kids. Then why are kids being sent home and having to miss the finals?

Congradulations to Hayden, Dill and Destin for there championships. I would also like to congradulate the whole Minnesota team for quite an effort. Zac Coats won his 7th place match so Minnesota will finish in a tie for 5th place.

I know I'm a homeboy but does any other state have as good as a 1-2 punch as Ness-McCauley?

I think this is the first tournament that they split weights for this summer as I think they were both 130 for team. I know they were both 130 for the qualifier in Ohio.
