It sounds like some people think the match between Destin McCauley and Kaleb Friedley of Missouri tomorrow will be for 1st and 3rd... I guess some think they are the two best at that weight and the finals will be anti climatic.

Justin Deangelis from Oklahoma won the other pool. The finals will be an excellent match.

I guess the Dog heard right... the championship match was the one prior to the Finals

Congradulations to Hayden, Dill and Destin for there championships. I would also like to congradulate the whole Minnesota team for quite an effort. Zac Coats won his 7th place match so Minnesota will finish in a tie for 5th place.

We all have our favorites but this one says it best.

Congratulations to all the kids that work hard during the summer, you earn all your accomplishments now and next winter.

Ness, Massa win Cadet Triple Crowns with victory at Cadet Freestyle Nationals
Dylan Ness and Taylor Massa became only the fourth and fifth Cadet Triple Crown winners ever with victories at the Accelerade Cadet Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, N.D.

Headline off of TheMat.com I'm impressed.

3 of the 5 are Minnesotans as well. Z. Sanders, Zilmer and now D. Ness.

No. Josh did win Freestyle the one year but I don't think he placed in GR that year. Not sure about folkstyle.

I have read on here many times how poor the media covers wrestling in various parts of the state, but I think the Fargo media deserves a little credit for their coverage of this weeks Tournament at the Fargodome. I have seen stories on tv and the newspaper has covered it with the stories you have read posted by Techteam and myself.

Here is the recap from the top of the front page of the Sports section in todays paper. Where have you seen that before?

Ness stuck his guy with a "deep Ness half" and McCauley hit a cement mixer and held him on his back.

Looking back at the results, the last 3 guys that McCauley had to beat up at 135 were all three state champions. Outstanding!
