Chris, I've also PM'd some of these posters trying to talk about it in private and have failed to receive a response. Do we have a name of a kid or anything that was supposedly left alone? On his way out, Andy Bisek drove by the parking lot where the kids were to be picked up, and there was no one there. He did this deliberately to make sure there were not still kids there. This took place between 11:30 and somewhere around 11:45-11:50. If there were kids alone on campus, they weren't in that parking lot. |

Why didn't coaches/leaders just stay with the kids and we would not have had this dilemma? Timelines aside it is obvious that coaches/leaders left kids alone otherwise there would have been no concern to drive back by. Does MNUSA have a policy for the safe deliveryof the kids? Or Is the "scatter" delivery the policy...and then having some one drive by in the dark the policy? |

And another poster joins in to confirm he knows absolutely nothing about about what really happened. |

I've sent you a couple PM's. I believe they send you a pop-up notification when you get them so you should have noticed. Please get back to me. |

Some of the responses indicate why parents haven't and don't say anything. Instead of people agreeing that the kids shouldn't be left alone people are calling concerned parents "sour grapes", "lunatics" and various other negative comments. Wojo Foolish comments. All of them. Concerned adults are not lunatics. Augsburg area is one of the bad areas in the city (ask the Augsburg wrestlers). You want to wait until something bad happens (great advice). People are thinking for themselves and giving good advice about not leaving kids alone. Everyone has thanked MN/USA for all they do. That's beside the point. I'm not upset with anyone; even those of you who are foolish in thinking it doesn't matter if kids are left alone. Yes, I know for a fact that kids have been left alone in the past. The entire point is MN/USA has to have a plan so that kids are not left alone I'm fairly sure it won't happen again so I'm done with this. |

Of course people are going to get called out on an anonymous message board. If they are not personally bringing it to the attention of MN/USA they are either irresponsible themselves, don't really care that much, or nothing actually happened. Airing complaints on a public, anonymous message board and expecting something to be resolved is just foolish. |

I just want to thank MN USA Wrestling for the great opportunity that was given to my son. This was the first time he has ever done anything like this and he really enjoyed it. I personally could not believe the great deal the wrestlers got, five day on-site training camp, two singlest, shirt, a jacket and transportation to and from the tournament. My son told his little brother to quit BB so he could start taking part in these camps when he is a cadet next year. Thanks again MN USA wrestling for the great opportunity and bargain that was provided. |

Chris, Does MN/USA have any sort of Risk Management policy? I'm sure an organization like yours/ours does for the protection of youth and adults. Regardless of what happened or didn't happen last weekend it seems to me a policy covering the MN/USA's representatives responsibility when dropping off kids should be in writing. |

Unless MN/USA Wrestling is completely unresponsive to a complaint (which they don't seem to be), a message board is not the appropriate place for a complaint like this. The HONORABLE thing to do is to contact the appropriate people involved and give them an opportunity to look into it and respond privately, which apparently hasn't been done. |
