Televised Main Card (projected) -

Anderson Silva vs. Patrick Cote @ 185lbs (UFC Middleweight Title)
Thiago Alves vs. Diego Sanchez @ 170lbs
Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk @ 155lbs
Fabricio Werdum vs. Junior dos Santos @265lbs
Thales Leites vs. Goran Reljic @ 185lbs

Preliminary Card -

Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Horwich @ 185lbs
Hermes Franca vs. Gleison Tibau @ 155lbs
Josh Burkman vs. Pete Sell @ 170lbs
Spencer Fisher vs. Melvin Guillard @ 155lbs

This is mostly speculation...
i bring this up before UFC 89 because i was startled to see Sherk's name on there...?

Sherk VS Griffin would be the big fight in my mind, I'd oay to watch that one.

Silva will walk through Cote, but it will be fun to watch.

I agree Sherk vs Griffin has the potential to be the fight of the year....Not so sure about the Cote and Silva fight however....Cote has improved alot over the past number of fights...this could be a great fight as well.

I'm excited for Fisher Guillard especially. Thats another great lightweight bout to add to Sherk Griffin.
Cote Silva=Silva with ease i think.

Silva is going to crush him with ease like usual.

So in for Diego is KOS...
why is Fisher-Guillard not on the televised portion, when Werdum and some cat i've never heard of are on it?
Fish-Guill is gonna be a slugfest bound to put on a show!
But i suppose they want a variety in weight classes?
or just dont see it like me maybe....?

I agree CD, not having Fisher-Guillard on TV is just dumb...I see it playing out just like Fisher-Stout part 2....with Fisher winning a slugfest after 3.

Just looking at the card...I just can't believe that they are putting Rich Clementi Vs. Gray Maynard and Fabricio Werdum Vs. Junior Dos Santos on the televised portion of the card (ahead of the Sherk vs Griffin fight....hello??? <_< ) over Spencer Fisher Vs. Shannon Gugerty , Hermes Franca Vs. Marcus Aurelio, or even Thales Leites Vs. Drew McFedries....

I bet the two televised fights won't be nearly as entertaining as many of the undercard bouts.

I heard the Fisher/Guillard fight is off. Something about Guillard being on drugs, don't know what the deal is, or if thats true or not.

The level of the beating that Anderson puts on Cote tonight will set new standards for beatings...Cote is a stubborn french-Canadian who just will keep getting back up...I wonder who will be reffing the match? That might impact how long the brutality continues. :D

Everyone Congradulate D.O'Neil as our winner this week!

Also, heard the Silva fight was a travesty...? Can someone give me insight other then the stupid Yahoo Front Page?
SHERK WON! ATTA BOY!
Fisher showed up and owned.
I totally lost on the Werdum fight, didn't see that coming at all!
But, i aced Alves-Kos. So once BJ-GSP gets finished, if GSP wins, does he take a fight with Alves for the belt?

I didn't score anything on the Werdum fight. I didn't see it, but I assume he got sloppy and got wrecked.

cote fight was good he took a couple great hits a knee and head kick and didnt phase him really then in the third like 30 seconds in he was shuffeling or bouncing around and you can see his knee pop so they stopped the fight. but he was the first opponet to take silva to the third round should be a great rematch

He got hit so hard with an uppercut that it looked like his ears were going to rip off his head. ..hard to explain, but if you watch the replay you will get what I mean.

I think the way fantasy UFC scores stuff is stupid. I get way more points for picking a UD winner, than if I pick the correct winner, submission type, and round, but if you get the minute it happens in you lose all your bonus points. I think its dumb.

That being said, I was the Boss of UFC 90. Better put a target on me.

Enjoy, your time at the top...it will be short lived...

Although I picked the majority of the winners...the method, round and times were off...I need to sharpen up my skills for the Lesnar/Couture fight. :D

The bright moment of the card was Sherk/Grffin Fight getting fight of the night. I hope Sherk does get the winner of the Stevenson/Florian fight. It would be even better if Florian was to win against Stevenson. I would love to see Sherk finish Kenny "I finish fights" Florian in a devestating fashion. B)

Well, I'd say Werdum didn't get "caught." He got dominated. That dude was just flat-out better than him. Did any of you see Dana White's video blog from last week ... he had some clips of the Dos Santos on there, and he looked impressive just working the gloves. It's just one fight, but this guy looks like the real deal. His power was sick, and he's supposedly even better on the ground. I guess there WAS a reason they gave him Werdum so soon. Can't wait to see who that guy gets next.

Was glad to see Kos get dominated. Still don't think Alves would have a chance against GSP.

Sherk's win was definitely the fight of the night ... just all around the most entertaining. Thing is, Sherk has taken BJ Penn's best shot and didn't get knocked out. I don't know if anyone in this weight class can knock that guy out!!! He definitely was rocked a few times, but it was so great to see him win like that. He stays relevant now at 155 ...

Maynard was not impressive. I expected him to be better. But both of those guys are huge at 155.

Not sure what was up with The Spider on Saturday. I understand feeling Cote out and being careful of his hands, but ... it certainly made for an odd and disappointing fight. I give Cote credit for taking some good shots. Just wasn't exciting.
