Just got back... great fights tonight! Raphael Butler vs. Travis Fulton (Butler took care of him with relative ease really...) Boris Shishporenok vs. Hyacinthus Turnipseed (fake name?) (Turnipseed got KTFO'd!) Mike Howell vs. Rayvon Wilson (missed some of this fight i think, but Howell won? Im pretty sure.) Ronnie Peterson vs. Bobby Conners (Ronnie looked like the better fighter really... both fought well though. Ronnie won) Malcolm Cowans vs. Bobby Butters (bobby butters is a total #$%^ and got DQ'd after he hit when touching gloves at the beginning... continually had cheap shots when touching gloves to the face, and eventually kept going after malcolm after he put him on the canvas and the ref stopped it to get Cowans up.) 180 - UFC/WEC Vet Tommy Speer 9-3 vs Joe Juliannelle (US Marine, undefeated in combatives competition) (Tom walked through this guy... he looked like he was almsot unready to fight really...) 170 - Zack Strand 4-1 vs UFC Vet Chad "the Grinder" Reiner 17-4 (Reiner took strand to townd... but good showing to both) 170 - Mike Hansen 7-11 vs Chuck Parmelee 9-8 My pick for fight of the night. (Mike Hansen had a great following, and im for sure a fan now... he brings the noise! But fell short... great jits though, almost gettin an omoplata...) 190 - Joel Schrimpf 2-1 vs Corey Washington 1-0 (Schrimpf beat on him, got caught, and later tooled... 2nd round i think?) 145 - Jordan Neer 4-1 vs Josh Lebsock 2-0 or Jacob Hyde 0-1 (CANCELLED???) Great show overall, saw Logan, but didn't get a chance to talk with him as he was busy haha... I will show up again haha... Even the couple confrentations in the stands and a guy gettin hauled out were pretty sweet! |

Excellent event. Fights were good, everything was well run. Just top-notch. Even enjoyed the boxing a lot. Will add more later ... gotta run now. Glad you liked it Duster! And glad your Stewy boys could pull out a win on Friday. Now the "big" game. So how high up should I vote you guys in the Class AAA polls? |

Jordan Neer no showed. I was stunned. He was ready to go on Wednesday and then didn't show for weigh ins. We tried to replace him but the commission required that the replacement would have to get to the hotel on weigh in day and no fighters were available to come on that short of notice at that weight. Oh, and I have nothing to say about the Speer opponent as I had nothing to do with selecting him. I would far rather have put Speer vs Reiner, but their managers would never agree to it. |

Boy, I wouldn't be asking Logan who's on the next show ... I think he lost so much hair stressing over this show, he may never be a "matchmaker" again! I believe the next two shows will be MMA only and both will be in the horse barn, believe Logan said December and February ... he can confirm the dates of those shows. Overall, I thought it was a fantastic show. Logan's boy Hansen had a solid showing against a real vet like Parmelee. I don't think people realize how close he was to finishing with that omoplata. Even when Parmelee had slipped off it, it was still close. I was sitting right there, it happened in my corner. Parmelee's shoulder muscles were stretching like crazy, and he was wincing pretty bad. Hansen keeps getting better. I think they both ran out of gas, though. Still a great, entertaining fight. Logan would have been proud of me (or mad) trying to coach Hansen through things when it came to my corner ... I also screamed at the ref until he moved it away from the ropes when Hansen was in trouble. Tommy's fight was what I expected. His manager hand-picked the opponent, so you knew the guy wasn't going to be good. Wish he would have been in better shape, though, so Tommy wouldn't have thrown him around like he weighed nothing! My wife actually really enjoyed the boxing portion of the card ... she loves MMA and wasn't sure what she'd think of the boxing. But she definitely liked it. Overall, everything was top-notch. Mickey doesn't cut corners, and it really showed! |

Figured Hansen was a man close to Logan... i mean, look at that beard! :) Speer's opponent was rediculous, but whatever, nice to see him own some $%^# |
