i don't think it matters what statino the fight is on just how well broadcasted and talked up the fight is

this sounds dumb of me... but can you elaborate?

from about 5 on down, i don't really see any "talked up fights"...
but you have a point, nonetheless...

I would like to see UFC get on one of the major broadcasting stations.....Then it would have more viewers

Unfortunately the "fight" culture has become a cable/Pay-per-view market. Boxing used to be a nation wide event, and EVERYONE knew who the champions were. Then they made the switch to Pay-per0view and it has slowly made the slide into obscurity. UFC started out there, and has not yet made the switch to network TV. I would like to see it happen, but am not sure if it would be as successful as boxing ever was just because it is a much more violent appearing sport.
