Just curious to see what everyone else thinks is the best MMA fight they have ever seen. Trying to get together an all time top ten fight list and then start tracking down the videos. One of my recent favorites has been Roger Huerta/Clay Guida fight. Seems like I am always entertained by the stamina of the guys at 155.

I seen the Hughes/Trigg fights and wasn't that impressed, well I was impressed at how easily Trigg gave up his back, twice! I haven't seen the Diaz/Gomi fight, I'll check it out

The one thing that impressed me most about Fedor and Nog's first fight was that this was truly the first time everyone got to see how much power Fedor could generate throwing down punches while in Nog's guard....If you get a chance to watch that fight again, please do....The sound of Fedor's punches smacking against Nog's melon is just incredible.

Even to this day, I don't think ANYONE can match that type of power while being in your opponents guard.

Also, I think I would rank Huerta vs Garcia as one of my favortie fights as well. They pounded on each other for 3 rounds straight.

...sorry about the machine gun posts...but another fight just popped into my head.

Matt Lindland vs Carlos Newton in an IFL show in early September...Lindland was an absolute animal in this fight...Newton just refused to tap and probably withstood an incredible beatdown before getting "choke slammed" by Lindland early in the second round.

Garcia-Huerta was an absolute war... I watch that fight monthly haha.

Also, Gomi-Diaz was a great one too...

Pride 25
Fedor vs Nog (first fight)

Great fight. Actually I think the whole card on PRIDE 25 was pretty decent.

For me, it's Diego Sanchez vs. Karo Parisyan (on 8/17/06). Just an incredible fight. Constant motion.

I was at the Guida vs. Huerta fight. It was awesome, but I wouldn't call it the best of all time. Though I'd say every single one of Guida's fights are awesome! Still ticks me off that he doesn't have a better contract with the UFC. He should be paid better, because he always puts on a show and fans love him.

Agreed...I can't believe he gets paid the bare minimum....there are guys out there who get substantially more and just don't deserve it.

I don't know if this ranks as a top ten fight, but when Fedor is in TK's guard and he is reigning down those sledge hammers....I just felt like I needed to hug someone....

Chuck Liddell vs Wanderlei Silva.

An absolute war that lived up to the insane pre-fight hype. Well worth the long wait.

I'm staying at a hotel this weekend that has HDNet. The best fight I've ever seen is any fight in high def.

Just get Charter!!

I love having HDnet. It's amazing. Not to mention, Showtime, Versus, Spike (if I could just get Charter to get Spike in HD, I'd be all set) ...

So, was Duster staying at a hotel Thursday night, maybe up in St. Paul ... if so, can someone bail him out of jail???

Nog v. Cro Cop

Agreed...I forgot about this fight...the first round was absolutely phenomenal. Another great fight was Bob Sapp vs Nog...when Sapp powerbombed Nog at the beginning of the fight, you kind of figured it was over for Nog....but he persevered..as usual :D

I have to agree with you...that Severn and Gracie fight was incredible...I remember sitting in a bar with a bunch of friends watching Royce getting whooped on for around 15 minutes..and then seeing him slide into that triangle choke when it looked like all hope was lost....All my buddies stood up and cheered...you just had to  ..I think many a MMA fan was born that night. :ph43r: B) B)

Keith Hackney VS Emmanuel Yarborough---------hallarious
Keith Hackney VS Jo Son--------even more so

On a more serious note, Coture vs Silvia was very enjoyable for me, Randleman vs Fedor was really cool, and I've always kinda liked Marco Ruas vs Paul Varlens. just choppin the old bear down

What about the Shamrock/Frye fight. Seriously, you cannot watch that and no longer consider MMA the toughest sport on earth!

I really thoght Clay could go with Sanchez but it was pretty one sided. He ate some big shots early and that was about it.
