Yeah, this thing was on and off about 10 times.

It's straight grappling, not striking. Larson will win ... but it's still kind of cool.

Larson is one of my favorite fighters, by the way. I want him to get another shot at Condit.

PM needs no tickets. He always gets the press pass.

Larson should sub him in the first few minutes.

Agreed....and it would be even shorter if it was an MMA fight.

Always? Come on, not always. OK, almost always. I pay when I'm out of state at a non-UFC event. Does that count for something?

And don't forget that Tommy fights this weekend in Virginia. He's actually fighting a decent guy this time, Beau Baker, who is 6-0. Baker is a two-time high school state wrestling champ in Virginia who did his college wrestling at UT-Chattanooga.

Tommy's fight is the main event, and Antwain Britt is on the undercard. Event is on the ODU campus in Norfolk, Virginia.

Here's a link to a story about Baker.Baker story link

Tommy must have a manager who cares about him.

Right, right.

I think The Pav really cares about The Pounder.

You better be just kidding! Nobody wants to see that ... I'm not fast enough to run away from the Pounder in the cage! And our favorite sport doesn't need a death in the cage, especially with all of the momentum we have going right now.

FYI, Tommy suffered a majority decision loss to Beau Baker this weekend in Virginia. Baker is undefeated (believe at 6-0 now) and he's a former UT-Chat wrestler.

I did see a little video of the fight, but not the complete thing, so I can't give a true opinion on the decision, and I haven't talked to Tommy yet.

In the video I did see though, tommy was caught in an arm bar as deep as I've ever seen one. His elbow was bent the wrong way ... it looked sick. But he didn't tap and eventually got out of it. He had some nice slams and looked like he got the better of the striking. But Baker took Tommy down a several times and was able to mount him in all three rounds.

Just from the video, I got the feeling Tommy thought he still won the fight, but again, I haven't talked to him yet, so I'm interested to hear what he has to say.

Baker looked good. This win will probably get him a shot with a bigger organization.

Sounds like he's got plenty of tools and skillz, just a little ground work?
Is he still training down in IL with Hughes?
