Who will win the fight tonight between Roy Jones Jr. and Joe Calzaghe?

any thoughts?

I used to love to watch Roy in his prime - he was so elusive and could strike like a cobra from any direction.

Jones from 5 or 6 years ago would have destroyed Calzaghe...but that was then this is now...I believe the fight will be close, but Calzaghe will win a majority decision.

From what i saw on myspace, looks like Calzaghe won...
pardon my ignorance, but was this a boxing or MMA bout?
Card/Show details?

Boxing - I guess I took a bit of liberty stretching the topic structure here but I thougth the fight would be interesting. anyhow jones lost a decision as Xhockey predicted. I assume he may be done for good now? :ph43r:

i figured it was boxing, and its great that your bringing that aspect into the Forum here... I just didn't know being RoyJJ has been talkin crap about how Anderson Silva couldn't stand with him and a chance at a MMA opportunity.

Jones would be wise to cease any smack talk about Anderson Silva. Silva would destroy him!

MMA-Silva wins with knees. Boxing-Jones Superman's him-KO. Basically if one goes into the others world...they are not going to win. Jones not in prime/ Silva in prime makes it interesting.

Agreed - straight up boxing Jones gets the nod - but not as dominant as Silva would be in MMA in the same matchup. Jones in his prime, however, would be every bit as dominant in Boxing over Silva.
