We haven't talked too much about this upcoming card...here's how it looks so far... Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski Arlovski won't be able to take out the mighty kozak...expect the unexpected...Fedor by armbar late in the first round. Josh Barnett vs. Gilbert Yvel This should be a great battle...but I think Gilbert will be shaking off a lot of ring rust...Josh by submission Vitor Belfort vs. Matt Lindland Vitor just hasn't been Vitor for a very long time...I think Lindland got an eye opener in his last fight and will be well prepared...Lindland by TKO via ground and pound in the second round Renato Sobral vs. Thierry Sokoudjou Sokoudjou could win...but it would have to be early...I see Renato weathering the storm and eventually knocking out Sokoudjou early in the third round. Chris Horodecki vs. Dan Lauzon Horodecki has just a little too much horsepower for Lauzon...I see Horodecki finishing this fight early in the third. |

Your pretty spot on. I think Lauzon beats Horodecki, this is actually one of the fights Im looking forward to the most. Horodecki seems pretty raw outside of the stand up and Dan will work to get this to the ground. Horodecki in the past didnt have much of a takedown defense. I think they should have held off on the Belfort Vs Lindland fight for now. Belfort is trying to establish himself at 185 were he could be a force and the give him his cryptinite. Yvel has looked very tough the past 2 yrs or so, but Joshs ground game is way over his head. Not to mention I would bank on Yvel being a roider and he probably will be outside of some cycle which will hurt his power. Sobrol Vs Soko is a pretty damm good fight. Tough one to call |
