Anyone have any thoughts on Sokoudjou's future in the MMA? I thought he was going to be a legit contender at 205 when he came to UFC in time, but he has been incredibly lackluster of late. He's now lost 3 of 4 fights, and although he is still very young, I haven't seen any type of improvement. He has the physical tools to be elite, but has yet to put any of it together. I know he hasn't been given easy fights, I just expected more. I like Sokoudjou, but I'm about as pleased with his performance as I was with Cro Cop in the UFC. Anyone have some thoughts? |

He's actually a really good fighter. He is facing a lot tougher competition than most. If he trains hard he should have a pretty successful career. Check out Mark Hunt's record. He is basically in the same boat. However I think Sokoudjou is a better fighter Mark Hunt is 50/50 in his fights and seems to fight only the best fighters. |

That's a good take DNW....he has faced the top talent....but he did set the bar pretty high for himself with his two TKO victories over Ricardo Arona and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira...I think he has a great camp in Team Quest, he is very young and talented...I think he will rebound and live up to the hype....eventually. |

1. He needs to be developed, they need to back off on his competition. He exploded onto the scene with flash KOs over top guys, you learn very little about how good a fighter is when they win by a flash KO. We are seeing his is very good, but not there next. 2. He needs to improve his conditioning he has faded in the 2nd and 3rd rds. 3. He needs to get better on the ground, I'm not even sure if he has Judo other then what they tell us and some you tube crap. He never uses it and his ground work is terrible. 4. I personally think he is a bit small for 205. |

He has problems winning when he can't punch people in the face. Still a great prospect. He has some losses but look at his competition. Hopefully he can get some fights against a little easier competiton and fight his way back up. |
