i would like to see this fight and i think with Shogun coming off a loss and Forrest coming off a win it might be rolling around in the minds of some of the fight coordinators.

thoughts?

Well, this is pending the result of Shogun vs. Machida II. If Shogun wins, I have to believe his first defense would be against Griffin or the winner of Evans vs. Silva. If Machida wins, I could see it happening.

why would griffin get a title shot? He beat Tito Ortiz, who until he proves otherwise is nobody, and before that got embaressed(sp?) by Anderson Silva. Forrest needs to get a couple legit wins under his belt before he gets another title shot

I agree...Forrest needs to redeem himself some more before he is given a title shot.

Yeah, I realized that as I was talking about the potential 205 matchups over on another board. You'll have to excuse me for playing too much UFC Undisputed and fighting Griffin for the title twice a year :P :P
