Ambition MMA in Eagan is definitely a great place to train. It's located in Eagan, MN on 2020 Silver Bell Rd. You should come in and I can get you a free week! Feel free to PM me and I can get you more details. This place has been really great for me. I started eight months ago, and I'm 6-0 as an amateur and fighting for the Brutaal Amateur Title. If you like, come by Treasure Island for the weigh-in party on Friday at the Parlay Lounge, or come to the fights at the TI Event Center on Saturday, and I'll be happy to introduce you to some of the fighters, coaches, and owners.

Minnesota Martial Arts Academy is the best place to train in Minnesota, and arguably the best in the Nation.

It depends upon what you want to achieve with your training. PSchilling endorses Ambition, and I respect his input and opinion. Warriors Cove has a different mix on training for MMA and grappling (my preference). But..... I got my April eddition Fight Magazine in the mail yesterday one of the articles in this months magazine is the Top 20 MMA Gyms in America. Here is thier list (get the magazine if you want the description of each gym)

1) Jacksons MA
2) Americas Top Team - Flroida
3) Extreme Couture
4) American Kickboxing Academy
5) Minnesota Martial Arts Academy
6) Arizona Combat Sports
7) Sityodong
8) Militich Fighting Systems
9) Team Nogeira MMA
10) Fairtex Gym and Cesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu
11) Team Quest South
12) Team Quest
13) Eric Paulson's CSW Training Center
14) Wand Fight Team
15) Lloyd Irvin MMA
16) Jorge Gurgel MMA
17 ) Hit Squad
18) Ultimate Fitness
19) Penn Training and Fitness Center
20) Team Curran MMA

MMAA is in pretty elite company in this list.

Minnesota Martial Arts Academy's big downfall is it's a costly, but they have very good training and lots of competition. Great classes for first timers to UFC Champs. It's definitely worth going to. Another great thing about the place is it is combined with one of the best strength/conditioning gyms in the US. Athletic Performance Inc. I go there all the time. Minnesota has tons of great places. I have only been to a few places, and MMAA is by far my favorite place to train.

May 15th at Champlin Park High School you can check out a lot of martial artists from all over. Warrior's Cove and MMAA guys will be there. It's a gi and no-gi tournament. Lots of fun, and lots of gyms compete there. If you are looking for a good place, tons of guys will be there for good advice.

Teams competing:
Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, Minnesota Kali Group, Mattevi's Martial Arts Academy, Midwest Center for Movement, Koumei Dojo, Revolution Defense & Fitness, Warrior's Cove, No Rules Martial Arts, Petushin Martial Arts, Doc's Gym, Menne Combat Arts, American School of Martial Arts, Kage No Gundan, House of Pain, Cellar Kickboxing, Gorilla Combat, Rochester MMA Next Edge Academy,& Cambridge MMA, and more.
