Does Dan Hardy have a chance against GSP? I realize he has a punchers chance as they say, but really!!!!!! Gsp will take him down all day and ground and pound him if he wants to.

Honestly I think Dan Hardy will get obliterated, but for the sake of argument: Hardy I think has more than a punchers his chance. MMA experts rave about his striking saying that if he wants to win the fight he has to stay on his feet, they also say if there are any holes in GSP's game it is in the striking.

Everyone else completely ignores this.
Watch Hardy actually on his feet. Not as the guy you love to hate (most people I know hate him atleast) but as just another fighter his stand up really is outstanding no doubt about.

Perdiction: GSP wins via rear naked choke 2nd round.

Koscheck vs. Hardy would have been a better fight, maybe it will happen after this one.

Well... according to Bodog... Hardy is +425 and St. Pierre is -625. Yikes! I think Hardy is going to get smashed. I don't even feel the need to back up my statement. Hardy has been to decision his past 3/4 and two were by split decision. Hardy is a great self-promoter, but he's really gonna get shook.

GSP by TKFO - looking forward to seeing him shut up just like my boy henderson did to Bisping.

I agree, this would have been a way better fight...Hardy beating Kos would have proven (at least to me) that he is legit...

Great fight for GSP! I mean Hardy is good and brings interest, he is not a top level guy by any means.

Yes Hardy has backed up all his smack talk. But I guess I will be the only guy on here and go out on a limb and take Hardy on a gut feeling that he will catch GSP with 1 left hook that knocks him down and then Hardy swarms him for the win. However unlikely it seems if I were in Vegas I would put my money down on Hardy and hope to hit it big.

back in high school during wrestling season a team mate told me "anybody can catch anybody at any given time, thats why we wrestle the match" i lost the match after he told me that but he had a point. on paper gsp should win, but you never know, there is that "punchers chance" and GSP has to fall some time.

Just ask Matt Serra.

I thought that Serra was a big supporter of GSP back in the day. He trained Hardy to try and beat him now. I am not sure of the logic because Serra knocked Gsp out from the standup and Serra's game is all Bjj. If he is teaching Hardy to be a well rounded fighter I understand. He is trying to slow GSP down in the down position, good luck just ask BJ Penn about how that went for him.

Yeah I always seemed to lose when people were feeding me lines like that before a match too.

I think the whole Hardly training with serra thing was just for promoting. Hardly was only there for a week I think, it's not like they trained for the whole time for this fight.

Hardly's chances are that of a snowball's in hell.

Corwin v. Lesnar title match might be a record setting match for the UFC. It is going to be one of the most hyped and anticipated matches besides possibly a Machida v. Rua rematch.
