At the pre-UFC 125 press conference today it was announced that Chuck Liddell has retired from fighting and will now be working as the Vice-President of Business Development. I'm not entirely sure what the job entails, but I'm assuming something to do with promoting, fighter negotiations, and the like. Hopefully something relating to better judging? http://www.inflexwetrust.com/2010/12/29/just-in-ufc-dana-white-officially-announces-chuck-liddells-retirement-from-fighting-to-become-a-new-exec-vp-of-biz-development-in-ufc/ This was the first link I could find, but hopefully something from a more notable source will come up soon. Chuck Liddell was preceded in retirement by his chin, which retired in May 2007 after being punched by Quinton Jackson. |
