Anyone else catch this? I was fully impressed with the entire night. The facebook.com stream was a bit slow, but that may have just been my internet connection. From what I saw though:

-Impressive performances, especially by Hominick, Mitrione, and Guillard.
-No judging B.S. (besides whoever gave Cole Miller a round, not that it affected the outcome of the fight).
-Great cause, with all the attention and support for the troops.

I'd say it goes without saying that this is the best free card in a while, and even a couple PPVs (UFC 119 comes to mind).

Thoughts?

I agree, great freaking night! I really like how not many people gave Guillard a shot and he walked through Dunham. I was impressed with all the winners mainly Wiman though. I thought that was going to be a great back and forth fight with Miller pulling it off but Wiman just GnPed Miller basically the whole fight.

Yves Edwards got both Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night bonuses while Guillard got KO of the Night.

Guillard has improved so much since his fight with Stevenson...going over to Greg Jackson's camp seems to have really worked for him....Hominick is very good, but Aldo is absoltuely at another level...

I'd like to see Guillard fight Jim Miller. I think it would be a great fight with Guillard coming out on top. But no matter who wins it would help their title run and probably but them in line behind the winner of Pettis/Guida.
