Last week my son was pinned by a guy using a body scissors. It started out as a Turk and then he scissored his legs around my son's abdomen and squeezed the scissors while holding my son's head. There were 2 officials there (I believe one was in training) and the official for the match is a great official whom I have worked tables for and he really does a great job. He was down looking for the pin and looked directly at the locked legs a couple of times. I have this match on video and it is very clear the pinning wrestler locked his feet and used the scissors to help facilitate the pin. Is the body scissors legal to use? I am just curious for future reference. Jim |

Body Scissors is legal. Figure 4 is illegal... Now the rule book does allow us to penalize if he uses the body scissors as a means of punishment. |
