NOT Optional ... cannot do a combo tournament with optional Greco. Tournament has been changed to a Free Style only event.

sorry for any confusion caused.

Updated Tournament Flyer should be posted by tomorrow.

St Francis is a good club and they run good tournaments- almost all the other tournaments out there are combo's- wrestlers will have plenty of opportunities to do greco- not every tournament can be a combo, and if you read some of the other comments on the forum, it seems some do not want greco- it's all good- 8 man freestyle brackets are great- combo tournaments are also great- something for everybody

Perhaps officially not optional to wrestle just FS in a combo, but in Moorehead
Saturday, in what was a combo I believe, more than a few wrestlers wrestled just FS which was before GR.

This seemed to be a smart way to organize; FS first followed by GR. Sure to get the FS people there regardless, and the GR hardcores or hopefuls staying after FS. I assume they had to pay both fees regardless.

You can't exactly make people stay and do both; but you can make them pay for both if it is a combo. Or am I wrong- in that you get no points or placing with MNUSA if you don't do both in a combo?

I personally like to see both at an event, combo or otherwise. Someone said it well on this thread or the related one, that having GR skills can come in handy in FS or Folk, even if you do not really like GR.

Be sure to go to the Middle School, this is not at the high school. It is right on highway 47 across from McDonalds and the County Market. This is a fairly large middle school with plenty of room.

Just curious, but why when your "poll" showed 67% in favor of a combo tourney did you decide to do a freestyle only? ^o)
